Che Figata

We just visited here as a hotel guest from the James Newbury Hotel (Also Amazing), We will definitely be coming back. Everything was fantastic! I especially liked the Duck, and Octopus.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The pork belly appetizer special was spectacular and the lamb shank was perfection. Every time I go to this place, I’m also blown away by the cocktails and the bartending. Tonight I wanted to try two different ones and I was so impressed with the blood orange cosmo I just kept getting that one. So now I have to go back for the cranberry mule. And the service is fabulous. I’m a foodie and I love trying new places, but I can’t seem to stop coming back here. The menu and specials are constantly fresh, I can’t keep up.

I’m reading reviews and can’t understand how anyone can not give 5 stars or refer to the food as mediocre that’s so far from reality I’ve eaten here many times and not once was my food less than amazing. The location, the bar regulars,the family feel ,and the staff friendliness added to the exception Talent of Salvatore the chef /owner who creates amazing selections that make your mouth water. Just ask for him he will come welcome you and thank you for coming Many of his family members work here so there’s much pride in the food and the service. I’d have to say this is my favorite place to eat. Hardest thing is choosing what to eat.

I had a wonderful time stopping in here. My server was friendly and attentive, and not overbearing one bit. My entree was served up hot and I found the short rib ragu to be full of flavor with tender meat, a hardy tomato base, and garnished with plenty of parmesan cheese. I only got an entre, and with the tip, I spent just over $30. I will happily do so again

I was so impressed with this beautiful treasure of a restaurant. Everything was so fresh, and delicious. A neighborhood restaurant where people are friendly, service was great. Loved it and will go back. Great place.

What a great find off the beaten trail and in the historic Reed Street section on Coxsackie. Near the Hudson River and a downtown that is getting revitalized. So quaint inside and out! Food was phenomenal and flavorful.

We had a reservation and went with a party of 13 on Father's Day. We actually had to call because we were running 15 minutes late. They were very nice and still seated us as soon as we got there. The food was delicious. I had the special seafood stuffed salmon. So, so happy I ordered that. It was great. Everyone had a good meal and a good time.

Amazing bistro ! Great atmosphere, great food options and great service. Would go again. One of the few places opened in town on a Sunday afternoon / evening.

The best lamb shank I could imagine, with sweet potato mash and sauted spinach. 10/10 would recommend for special occasions and takeout!

great place to visit. special offer on fb. bought a bargain meal for 20.00 generous portion with plenty of taste. homemade desserts too. plenty of seating. cozy places to sit inside or out. I will be back.

One of those places that people say "I've never had a bad meal there." I've had over the top delicious meals and very good meals, never a mediocre or bad meal. The atmosphere is both comfortable and elegant and the staff is friendly, attentive, and competent. In my opinion, it's the best place in town to get a meal when one feels like going out and treating themselves.

My friend and I traveled to the Coxsackie area to pay our last respects to a college friend who passed away. The night before the funeral, we found Che Figata Bistro. We received exceptional service from Tatiana and the food was phenomenal. The Bistro provides an elevated dining experience bringing a modern flair to traditional Italian favorites. The menu offers something for everyone: classic Italian cuisine, vegan options, seasonal menu items, daily specials, and surprising creations that masterfully leverage quality ingredients to produce perfectly balanced flavor profiles. I often travel between downstate and the Capital Region. I see myself planning detours in the future just so I can return! Our thanks to Tatiana and the amazing staff. We appreciate your hospitality during a difficult visit.

We had a wonderful lunch! The service was terrific even though they got very busy for one waitress. The sauce is some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant - and they gave me a generous amount to take home for my leftover amazing manicotti. And the sausage. . Wish I had some now!!
We’ll be back to Coxsackie just for dinner.

Great Place down by the water. Ask for the butter with your bread, so good! Eggplant rollitini appetizer great! Yummy desserts!

Couldn’t recommend Che Fiagata more! With a great atmosphere and delicious food, this bistro is my go to whenever I’m in the Coxsackie area. The staff is very friendly and always goes above and beyond to make dining at Che Figata an enjoyable experience. I put my trust in Che Figata to cater my wedding, and they did not disappoint. My guests still rave about their creative cocktail hour hors d’oeuvre’s and delicious reception dinners. Looking forward to returning to try something new!

We have been here 3 times and will keep coming back. We love the food! We shared an appetizer which was delicious! 2 Meatballs over puree squash, arugula pine nuts and shave parmesan over the top magnifico I had veal with squash, Ricotta and potatoes. I believe. It was Very Good I can't remember the other things that were with it but it was delicious....

Has a very enjoyable experience here last night. Sat outside on a beautiful evening with a partial view of the river. While the ambiance is not real super here, it is definitely a decidedly local vibe. The waitress was friendly and attentive and offered suggestions that were spot on. Bread with fig butter was excellent and a new addition to my taste buds. Our meals were clearly high quality ingredients and definitely well prepared and super fresh. I had veal parm and the wife had some type pork chop on the bone. Good craft beer and more high quality ingredient dessert were also sampled. In all, outstanding restaurant that I hope makes it in this spot that has seen many restaurants come and go.

Sal, the chef and owner of Che Figata created a wonderful menu for my husband's 65th birthday dinner with friends. The food was fabulous, the setting was lovely and all had a great time.i highly recommend the restaurant, for lunch, dinner or a special event.
