Holland Farms Bakery & Deli

This bakery and their half moon cookies have been a staple for my sisters and I since we were young. The bakery is in NY and we are in VA. I drove up by myself with the full knowledge that it was imperative to visit this bakery in person. It was wonderful! The young people and management had a line out the door but they worked joyfully and treated every single customer like family. God bless Holland Farms! 🙂

Best bakery in the vicinity of Utica. My grandchildren from Syracuse even know of it and recommend it. We got Half Moon cookies and canolli. They were great!

Amazing and insane amount of goods to choose from. We went in for cookies and ended up getting donuts too. The freshest baked goods I've had in a long time. Service was superb right along with their food. 100 out of 10!!

Holland Farms has been around since I was a kid! It fondly reminds me of my childhood and visiting my Grandparents. They have the best baked goods!! When I come up to the Utica area to visit family, I love to stop and get some "goodies" to bring home! 🥰

Holland's farm bakery has many different choices for you to pick from Cakes, donuts, and canoli's the list just goes on But today my main focus was donuts The the look and the taste of the donuts were phenomenal I chose three different donuts which where Headlight plus Apple fitter and a Boston cream The headlight was very good Patches wish had more fat Jam / jelly that Was the highlight for that doughnut the Apple fritter was kind of a let down but still great in its own way The one thing that was missing from that was the little chunks of Apple And the Boston cream was Exactly how it should be At the end it was all great selections great choices and they all tasted amazing

There's a reason why Holland Farms is one of the best bakeries in the area. They have a wide selection of baked goods and breads, along with a deli section packed with salads, meats, and all the other good stuff.

Not to mention, I just found out they have jelly buns without the powdered sugar!

February is Jelly Bun month. I had to stop and get jelly buns, and for St. Valentine's the decorated individual cakes were gorgeous and delicious. Couldn't leave without tomato pie. A perfect stop!

Went here for a treat before riding the polar express. Wanted a candy store but none were open. Didn't look much into them, but the reviews were really good. Turns out they were accurate. The baked goods were great. The people were helpful. And even though it was late, they had plentiful options available. We bought about 60 bucks worth of cookies and cakes. Now we're fat and happy 😊

We came for the cows! We stayed for the staff. What a friendly place! We sampled a bunch of products. Why 4 stars on food? One if my travel mates actually poured her coffee out...yikes!

I love trying local bakeries in new areas and this was my first time visiting Utica, and also the first bakery there. I wasn't really interested in the half moon cookies, but after learning it was an apparent Utica thing, I got one. And then I wanted many more! Love that Utica has a quintessential pastry and the small town bakeries making them.

The other specialty advertised here was the tomato pie. Apparently June was tomato pie month, so they were offering it as a discount. I was really disappointed they didn't adapt the "half" part from their cookies and sold half trays of tomato pies. For one person, it was entirely too much! So unfortunately I wasn't able to try any. Corropolese Italian Bakery in Royersford, PA offers half trays of their tomato pies, Holland Farms should try doing so too!

The jelly rolls are AMAZING!!!! you can't just have one, they are perfectly powdered and doughy. The raspberry filling is delightful. The pieces of cake are huge and were like 3.50 a piece. Moist, dense and perfect chocolate cake. The cupcakes my son got were moist and flavorful, not dried out and flavorless (like most places). I don't like frosting and I even ate that. They have small cheese cakes amazing! Their dough rolls superb!! Their English muffin bread, wonderful. EVERYTHING is amazing here. Worth the 1.5 hr drive every time. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I have never been disappointed with Holland Farms in any capacity. They have the freshest donuts. DO NOT go to the Dunkplace... these donuts are bigger and worth every penny. They have a drive thru and coffee too. There is a deli for meats and it is all just so awesome....

Ok ya get what you pay for is never more true then here. The prices may seem high but the portions are huge, the quality is top notch h and the people are great.

Love it you can get the best of all they have to offer and that's alot ....very fresh and delicious 😋

This is my choice for half moon cookies in Utica. I know plenty of others have their own opinion, but damn they are good.

This is a must go to... if you like halfmoons look no further... so many choices all so delish! What more could you want? Okay how about a Coffee, breakfast sandwich, a glazed jelly donut or even hot lunch specials? All served by the most friendly staff you could want!

This place has the best chocolate fingers I've ever had. My daughter in law loves them too so we always get a box or two when we visit her. Delish!

The half moons are fabulous with all the varieties. The birthday cakes are well worth the trip. The deli salads are so tasty. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous.
So make the trip !

I come all the way from Auburn just to get tomato pie for my event and a half moon for my husband!!!

I'm really hoping we can have the 1/2moons sent to Virginia unprepared so I can freeze them and frost them 4 days after delivery.
