Desserts Beyond the Ordinary

Had a couple great experiences! We have been going to them for years, we started going there when they were at their last location. I'm not going to say we don't make our own from time to time but they are definitely our favorite place to get an amazing cake! I have no stake in the place but I can guarantee you will not be disappointed, how moist they are and the fact they hold their moisture is phenomenal. Lastly the flavor all the way through! We called a couple of times in a pinch and they accommodated very well, thank you Desserts Beyond The Ordinary I will return for more cake!

First visit. Bought chocolate lobster tails. WOW! Crispy laminated pastry on the outside, silky rich chocolate on the inside .. I literally had to let the curse words fly with every bite! Absolute decadent perfection! Good job guys, now I have to resist the temptation to go back! 😡

Absolutely delicious! I got a pistachio cannoli and a chocolate dome shaped dessert. They were both beautiful and delectable. I will definitely be back! Try it you wont be disappointed!

We stopped in to grab some desserts and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. I've been to my fair share of dessert shops and this one is now the top of my list. The pastries we got were delicious and a step above the others in the area I highly recommend you try it!

We've used this business extensively for personal and very large event orders and they have never disappointed. Expect to receive friendly, excellent customer service and quality products. What a gem to have in the N. Utica area!

Great place the staff is amazing they have an amazing picture on the wall of the bakery. All the baked goods are delicious all the cakes are as affordable as they are tasty. The peanut butter pusties are a religious experience! Can’t recommend it enough

I wish I took photos, I loved everything I ordered. Staff is nice which is a plus. Got myself some puff pastries and the lobster pastry. Will definitely be back to try the other pastries on the menu.

Over this past weekend we celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday!! She wanted lobster tails (which are her favorite pastry). We got a few of them and some pusties (they make cheesecakes also). The cream inside the lobster tails were delicious!! You will need to make this your family's next go to place for all your celebrations!! We highly recommend Desserts Beyond the Ordinary, you will not be disappointed!!

I am never disappointed by ordering a cake or bite to eat here. The prices are higher than the average bakery for those baked goods but are well worth it. I highly recommend any cake that's right, any cake they are all prepared to perfection every time oh and happen to be delicious as well.
So go ahead, order a cake.....I dare you.

Amazing desserts! I picked up about 20 various desserts for my mother's birthday and it was about 60 dollars. I wanted a smorgasbord so everyone could try something... Everything was amazing!

My siblings and I ordered an anniversary cake for my parents years back upon the recommendation of a local friend. We were VERY pleased. So much so, we are ordering a Golden Anniversary cake from them for the local anniversary dinner!

They have made us (2) birthday cakes and our wedding cake. They are amazing. The cakes looked beautiful and tasted delicious!! Try the strawberry and cream cakes. Yum!

Excellent pastries! Possibly the best Lobster Tails in CNY.

Lunch was fast and very fairly priced. Staff was very friendly and personable. Canoli were to die for.
