Best donuts in St. Paul!!!! $18 for a dozen locally made, delicious donuts. That's tough to beat. The filled donuts are my favorite (lemon, jelly, vanilla - can't go wrong). Fresh bread is less than $5 and angel food cake was about $7.

Amazing bakery. We use the fritter bread in our cafe to make french toast and my wife says they have the best sour dough.

One my my favorite things are the cornbread muffins. They are so mouthwatering good. Thank you for filling my last minute order so quickly. Can't wait to watch everyone else enjoy them this evening. Thank you!!

This is one of the “real” bakeries left, no fake chocolate frosting here!!! I’ve been going to this bakery for over 20 years I bet… it’s just up the street to the left … ( okay, if you’re driving east on Highway 36, take a right on Frost Ave, drive down until you reach English street, then drive around the Roundabout -exiting on English St…it’s Just a couple shops up on the left side of the street, you’ll see a tall sign that says Bakery and Liquor Store (they’re two different entities but located next to each other.
The REASON I’ve gone to that bakery for so many years is because of their “Carmel Pecan Pastry or roll (whatever you want to call it.
Of course when I went there today around 1:30 ish… They were ALREADY SOLD OUT…it’s better to show up early, but I suppose it varies everyday, no guarantees …🤗 or 😱! Another thing thing that calls me back there is the Birthday cakes they sell! The small individual size. They look like a mini birthday cake about 3“x 3” AND NOT JUST FROSTING ON THE TOP…BUT ALL 4 SIDES!!! I like to keep one around in my freezer, so when I in a mood for something sweet, I take the cake out of the freezer and put on top, one very huge scoop of vanilla ice cream (preferably Häagen-Dazs Vanilla or VANILLA BEAN!) Good good stuff if you get in the mood, it’s there at your fingertips, I had one in my freezer for a month now but I feel a SWEET TOOTH ALL coming on!!!

Do not leave the Twin Cities without visiting this bakery and purchasing a sweet delight from them. Word of advice: be there by 0700 for the best selection…

Their donuts are so good. I don't like getting donuts from anywhere else now. I drive out of my way just for them.

Great to hear they are open again. Angelos was a big loss for the area, I was very worried Maplewood Bakery was permanently closed as well.

This bakery was a great choice!! I ordered a cake and it was just as good as everyone I work with and all the others on the reviews said. So tasty and the people working are so kind and pleasant. If you’re looking for the old style bakery type vibe then this is the place.

Family owned for many years. The apple streusel and blueberry loaf were really good. The date filled cookies are unique. It was my first time here, but I will be back.

A literal jewel in a neighborhood!! I have seen the sign and wondered if this shop was like my grandpa’s , what a find!!! 2022: Old school bakery art, great service and that wonderful smell. Their selection is large and you will not be disappointed . You better know what you want beforehand or you will want to try everything out!

Favorite bakery. It is a little out of the way for me but so worth the drive. I usually purchase a single helping of cake. It actually is large enough for a least two servings. Even though I go late afternoon the cake & donuts taste like they haven't been out of the oven very long.

The best donut I’ve ever had exists here. It’s called the Cro-nut. Buttery, flakey, soft excellence doesn’t get any better. Just be sure to arrive soon enough to get one.
