Good customer service! Great selection. High end gaming options or everyday options. They have it all. I bought Final Fantasy VII for PS1. They owner was nice enough to switch out the cases for me since I'm a perfectionist and its for my collection. She went above and beyond.

A very cool, fun, and friendly collectors shop. Prices are fair and they were very well stocked with all kinds of older games. I was impressed by the fact that they had rare, good condition games at a higher price due to the rarity, but had lower priced versions of the same game, would recommend for collectors or to anyone who just wants to see if they can find an older game they played before.

the variety is astounding and the staff is very helpful and sweet!! love coming here, even if it's a bit of a drive!
also their membership program is very good. and? buy two used games get one free? how can you not spend a whole paycheck here?

The most amazing experience me and my husband have ever had at a game store! We are now life time customers. Sue is amazing, patient, knowledgeable and so kind. Absolutely love this place!! A must go!!:)

Best video game store I've ever been too. Been going since I was a kid service is always amazing every worker I've seen always has a smile on their face and is super helpful. Love the nostalgic feeling I get when I walk in and how they have pretty much every console imaginable and games and accessories for them as well. Always a 10/10 experience when I walk in the store would leave more than 5 stars if I could.

Visited this place for the first time today. Honestly, if you don’t like a businesses prices, just don’t shop there. Sue was honest and friendly. The store reminded me of what video game stores used to feel like in the early 2000’s. Prices are fair, selection is plentiful. This place does not deserve the bad reviews. I found the “membership only” concept to be quite fun. Small businesses are the heart of communities, and cash is king for them. So I actually totally understand cash only. I had an awesome time here! Thankful to have this option over meijer and target!!

Amazing Game Store! I was absolutely floored when I walked in. Not only the variety but the quantity of retro and new games is unlike any other place I’ve shopped at!

*So I read some of the reviews after posting my initial review which was based off my 1st visit. I’ve since been to the location 3-4x and must say it’s quickly becoming my favorite place to hang out. I currently live in Toledo, OH and yes I make the drive just for this place! I challenge anyone who sees 1 Star reviews to click on the persons profile—you’ll see everything you need to.

I was able to snatch a MINT sealed copy of Amazing Spider-Man 2 which is currently off at Video Game Authority being graded. The young lady there gave me an outstanding deal and honestly I was shocked to even see it sitting back on the shelf behind counter.

Purchased Knuckle’s Chaotix, vmu, and a dreamcast controller. The owner was super nice and helpful!! Totally recommended

Prices are fair. Clean store, lots of inventory. Sold an old Wii and purchased games and controllers. Currently buy two games get one free.

The lady that works there has the best sense of humor ever. I love all the stuff in their store. New to antiqued, they've got it! They have a great array of games for Super Nintendo (and other game systems) which I found amazing! They have systems in there that I've never even heard of. It was fun to go in there and see all the systems while the great quips and friendly service was provided. I'd highly recommend this store to anyone!

Long time customer, Barry is the MAN! I’m bad with names but the wonderful lady working the counter is amazing and one of the reasons I come back, she takes care of you no matter what it is you are looking for. Big shout out to Bary also, he always makes sure I leave happy. Wouldn’t know where I would be buying half of my retro games. Love this place

I hunt for local retro game shops, and live an hour away from New Super Gametime. Fantastic, HUGE, retro games store, and the membership program helps prevent people trying to shoplift or sell the store fake reproduction games vs original, which is important for us collectors. They also give you free store credit gift cards when you buy things there, not a coupon, A GIFT CARD. I will be back, as it is easy to bundle games for a discount and also the gift cards help you get more. They also repair consoles and games (cart battery replacement anyone?) If you don't like their pricing or membership only practices, cry some more and take your sorry carcass to a garage sale and haggle there. I'll gladly have this huge game store to myself!

My son was gifted a Switch game that was purchased here. When he opened the (wrapped) case, there was no game cartridge inside. Having never been to this store, I looked it up to get a phone number to call. What I seen was a lot of negative reviews. After seeing the reviews, I was pretty convinced they were not going to replace the game and started to prepare my son that he would not have the game to play.

My husband called the store when they opened and they said come up with the packaging and receipt and they would "work with" him. Even more convinced now that they would offer a $10 credit or something to replace the game. After all, we had no proof the game wasn't in the case when we opened it. However, that's not what happened. What happened is they replaced the gsmr without a hassle. I am extremely happy I was wrong. And, very thankful they replaced the game.

Called yesterday because finally found the Nintendo 64 unit and was looking doe a specific game. The nice lady that answered the phone stated they had it. So we drive from Monroe to Southgate and picked it up. When we walked in we were blown away!!! There was everything you can think of. Everything was super clean and very very organized. Had all the things we needed and a few extras. I could have spent all day there for sure. I wish you guys would build one in Monroe I think you guys would do amazing there because there isn't anything like you guys there. Yes a few places but more for D and D. There is plenty of open spaces in Monroe!!!! And a lot of gamers. Overall I highly recommend this place 👌 One more thing for those that remember....they were around in the Gibralter Trade Center. I knew I recognized the name.

Took a trip here with my wife and daughter, and damn this place is bad ass💯 I was extremely pleased, the employees are awesome and extremely helpful as well. Never have I ever been into a retro gaming store like this before. I cannot wait to come back here!

Went a couple of times and it was a very nice experience. Haven't had any sort of this "attitude" other reviews are talking about. I also do not understand about the price outrage on things. It's all pretty reasonable and I most definitely will go here for a lot of my video game purchases. Much better than somewhere like Disc Replay, which is only really good if you want to pawn off your copies of games you no longer want.

Hi, I went here and we found out that the Lady who was working there is related to my grandpa and is my 3rd cousin! Very cool I got a ps3 good trade in, the only problem is that there was any a few game k was looking for, but otherwise excellent!
