Bluestreak Snack Shop

The Bluestreak Snack Shop has been part of the key landmarks of the small town of Ida, MI for decades. My dad and mom went there during school, I went there after school and still go, and I hope my kids and generations to come can continue to experience the Bluestreak Snackshop. Although different families have run it, they each have kept the same awesome and family-oriented atmosphere and name. The current owner has been kind and has brought the Snack Shop back to life. The food and ice cream is always phenomenal. As a working family, we love to now be able to place online orders and pick up dinner or a snack on the way home from work or working in the field after a long day. We are always greeted with a smile and a great meal. I would Recommend the Bluestreak Snack Shop to anyone looking for a busy night meal, after-school/game snack, or sweet ice cream treat. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place in Ida to stop for a quick bite to eat or ice cream. Everyone working behind the counter is very nice and efficient. I waited for a burger and fried pickles for about ten minutes, and the line was out the door! My mom tried the garlic parmesan fries, which were really good! Finished off my meal with a cherry sundae. Yum!

First time here and I will definitely be back. The staff was great and the food was amazing. Great little local shop. I'll be trying their ice cream next!

I stopped in this evening with some family and the energy was awesome. I loved learning the hand dipped ice cream is locally sourced.

The girls that work here are,awesome!!! They smile no matter how busy they are! Tjey are also very polite.and foods gret too!!!

Awesome experience and wonderful staff! I was in town briefly and was in need of a snack and restroom. I got chicken tenders which were very fresh and the staff was extremely kind and allowed me to use their restroom. Based on this small experience, they’re definitely worth the support :)

New Owners! Keeping this wonderful place open and providing EXCELLENT food! Burgers are juicy and delicious and the fries are the really good crispy coated ones too!

What an amazing transformation! New owners, new look and lots of new treats. They now carry vegan and lactose free desserts. We were given a strawberry mango vegan sorbet sample and it was delicious. Will definitely be going back!
