James is a very nice person & very professional. He is highly experienced, he fixed my Escalade while I waited, consulted me before a repair & the cost was very fair, Virgil was extremely helpful & friendly as well. All staff was kind & helpful, I will return here for all future repairs, as well as recommend to family & friends

Honest, reliable! They will never over price you!! I live out of state now but have known the family for years and on my way to Michigan friday my jeep had some break troubles, the owner james went out of his way to make sure that my vehicle could safely make it 6 hours back home. He was able to get me back on the road in no time. Thank you so much again

Very genuine guy who does his best work. A rare gem as far as actually caring about his customers goes. It's hard to find an honest mechanic. Not only honest, but also skilled, and a guy who cares about families. He made sure a new truck I wanted to buy was a good pick and safe for my children for years to come and also worked on my old truck prior to that.

Our household uses Sweet's exclusively for our car repairs. They're down to earth, honest, skilled, and have always treated us fairly. I send everyone there. 10/10

So I paid Sweet's Auto Repair to reseal and paint engine, install serpentine system , reinstall a deleted HVAC system , tighten my steering column, weld in subframe connectors and install Dakota digital gauges on my 1981 Camaro. After keeping my car for almost 7 months they called me to come get car and said it was done minus ac wiring harness. They only attempted to do half of what I paid him to do and everything they tried to fix is messed up. James Sweet the owner really messed up my car. Here is a list of what I have discovered so far.

1. Alternator power wire not tightened down which made it not charge battery.

2. Coolant level was 5 quarts low and car ran hot on 35 mile drive home.

3. Did not wire up ac or install high pressure lines.

4. Did not cap ac compressor so when I drove it home it leaked all the compressor oil out of AC compressor all over my freshly painted engine.

5. Sold me LS swap headers for non LS engine installed something unknown.

6. Hood not installed correctly gaps are really uneven.

7. Steering column cracks loudly when I turn steering wheel, turn signals are engaging on their own from turning steering wheel. The turn signal mechanism is binding up in steering column.

8. Speedometer pulse sensor installed incorrectly, not calibrated and odometer not set.

9. Dashboard missing bolts and has damage to some of the plastic trim pieces.

10. Put a giant 6 inch scratch with a zipper on driver's fender from leaning over side of engine bay.

11. Did not buy or install the subframe connectors I paid for. took them off bill but added multiple ac parts so bill was almost the same.

12. Put all my old dirty engine parts on my deluxe cloth seats.

James Sweet told me he test dove car and everything was good. he was not there when I picked up car because he knew he screwed everything up. I drove it down road 5 min and immediately brought back. It sat there 3 more days with no response to any of the messages I sent owner or shop. I went back and picked up car and brought it home. Before I took car to Sweets I had a good running, driving car, wanted to make it nicer. Paid 6300 dollars directly to shop plus another 1500 in parts I brought to shop for a total of 7800 dollars and now I have a car I cannot drive and needs thousands of dollars more work to make it driveable again. We will be settling this in court.

AVOID THIS SHOP LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I had them replace a window motor in my car. We agreed that he would leave the keys in the car since I wouldn’t be able to pickup the car until after the shop was closed. When I came back to the shop to get my car after hours, I opened my door and the interior door completely fell off. No bolts were put back on after they put the motor on the window and they left it as it was. I tried for a couple weeks to get in contact with him but he dodged me and had his girlfriend keep answering the phone. Totally unprofessional. Do not go to this place, your car will leave worse off than it came in.
