Log Cabin Island Inn

Our stay on Bailey Island at the Log Cabin was great. Sadly we were only able to book one night, but it was a great one. The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous, were we got to see the sunset from our balcony. We stayed in the Merriconeag Room which is the only room with two queen beds. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic. We were also able to walk down to the ocean only about a 10 minute walk down across the street. If your looking for a place to stay were you have easy access to the beach this is the place. Excited to stay again next year for two nights.

As first-time visitors to the state, we loved our time on Bailey Island, basking in the picturesque views and the tranquil breeze on the Wiseman deck, and enjoying the hospitality of Log Cabin Island Inn. We were very impressed by the complimentary breakfast! Lots to do on the island, including a short drive to see the Giant’s Stairs. Just a half hour away is the flagship L.L. Bean store with a giant boot sculpture.

Love this place. Great view and a wonderful breakfast. You can watch the sunset from your back porch.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on our staycation. We were amazed how friendly the staff were and accommodating to us. Made us feel like family. The York room was so nice. Plenty of room with superb amenities. The view from the deck overlooking Casco Bay is exquisite can even see Mt Washington in NH. Dinner certainly did not disappoint. The meal was prepared and served fabulously. The breakfast was excellent. The Inn is certainly a place to stay.

Very nice place, rooms are nice and very clean, great looking west. Can see Mount Washington, and the most spectacular sunset anywhere. Preorder dinner. Eat in the dining room, cooked to perfection. Breakfast included.
The owners, Mat and his mother (Sorry forgot your name) are the nicest people. Cannot say enough good things about the place.

Excellent accommodations. Staff is great. I ordered supper there and it too was very good. Comes with a full breakfast. Because of Covid, all meals are delivered to your room. Very clean. Great water views and great sunset from my room. I would definitely go there again.

We stayed two very relaxing nights and loved it. Room was spacious, with large en suite and it's own deck. View was fabulous (Sunset room), staff very friendly. And the pool looked inviting (80º F), but we forgot swimming costumes!

WiFi worked fine, staff disappeared after 8pm. Will cook Dinner on request, ask before 3pm.

OMG is the best description. Very clean rooms. Food was the best. Honestly. The best. Iv never had a baked potato where they hulled it and mashed it with sour cream, butter, and cream and filled it back in the potato skin. The boneless skinless chicken was juicy and moist. It was all so good. Views, walking distance, and just great hospitality. Highly recommend this place. And it’s Maine! So how much more perfect is that.

Great island getaway, lovely ocean view rooms,very clean. The food at the onsite restaurant is fabulous. The owners are awousme and service was outstanding. A great getaway and very comfortable inn.

Wonderful Maine destination. Quality food, convenient parking and walk the Island location. Views are exquisite, especially sunsets. The locals hang out at the Bailey Island Grocery for breakfast,coffee, lottery tickets, and a well stocked beer ,wine, and liquor selection.

Very tranquil place to spend your weekend at with a good book to read and spend some quiet down time free from the hectic modern life...with that said there is Wi-Fi albeit not the fastest or most reliable but ample enough to check occasional emails.
Very family oriented friendly staff and they will answer any questions you may have about local interest and then some. Breakfast is more than ample but simplistically delicious.
Accomodations are good to great but that is not a complaint.
Been here twice and looking forward to coming back again.

We had a wedding last year and my husband and booked this place. When we arrived we were mesmerized by the location and everything around the area. The breakfast was delicious and the customer service outstanding we booked a week for 2019 and can’t wait.

Extremely clean. Staff is wonderful they go out of their way to make sure you have what you need . Great views !! Breakfast is incredible served in 2 courses. Can't wait to go back

This was the perfect find for our road trip up the coast of Maine. Last minute landed us a $99 room with an amazing view and wonderful hospitality. We will be back!
