Found a gem! I could stay in this room forever. Immaculate, sparkly clean. Design is chic. Bed is the best, cotton sheets. Spotless room, everything brand new. Exceptional!! Third floor - the best!!

Get to walk through renovations to get to a hidden paradise. Gorgeous! Very cool. Excellent price.

Even though they are under construction, the staff is absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to come and stay when the renovations are completed! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else even while they’re working. It’s going to be beautiful!

We were very pleased with this hotel. Yes, it is a little dated and needs a paint job, but that's just cosmetics. The more important things for a good stay were excellent, such as the beds and sheets were comfortable, it was quiet (we didn't hear any people in the hallway, doors slamming, etc), the indoor pool was AMAZINGLY warm, and you had your basic breakfast in the morning that included pancakes, sausage, eggs. The people who worked there were nice, and the location is right off the highway, with amenities (such as restaurants, gas, etc) very close by. There were actually two restaurants (thai, and Mexican I think?) right across the street though we did not need to eat by the time we got there. And all for a very reasonable rate! Can't beat it!

I reserved a room before reading the reviews and was worried from the things that I had read. Let me set everyone straight. There is a pool. The temperature of the pool was fine. Staff were great. Hotel lobby and hallways were clean and recently updated. Room was clean, but maybe not to perfection? Sheets and towels were clean and bathrooms were very clean as well as fridge and microwave. The room was outdated. I didn’t really care for the price. I’m sure they are slowly working on it. There was hot water for the showers. Some things to work on?…..The pillows could be replaced. That’s it. Highway was loud. That cannot be helped. We didn’t care about the noise for the price. We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in town for more money and there is a train that goes by 20 feet from your window. We did not have the breakfast so I cannot comment on it. I did see a little girl walk out with a homemade waffle. Great job to the staff! We’ll be back next summer :)

Rooms are a bit old and the highway noise in the morning can't be helped. Aside from that, we were very impressed for the price compared to places in the area. I read all the bad reviews and the place has changed for the better. New owners are updating everything. Room did look and smell clean and most importantly, bug free. Nice staff late night when we arrived and in the morning when we made our own waffles for breakfast. Heated indoor pool was on and was looked fine to us. People were enjoying it. My next trip to see my family again, I'll be staying here once more.

Older Comfort Suites building but appears to be recently renovated on the inside. Staff is generally friendly and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The price was hard to beat for the area in November. Paid $315 for 4 nights from Expedia which even the Econo Lodge is more expensive by a lot. The contentental breakfast was surprisingly filling and solid. Nothing to complain about. I know a lot of reviews complained about the I-295 traffic but there is nothing they can do about it and it is not that loud and just blends in. Will definitely come back if cabins aren't available. No strange people walking around either. Everything worked well. Best bargain in the Freeport area. A+

The ONLY hotel my husband and I could find that had no pet restrictions. Incredibly accommodating. This allowed us an easy, comfortable, convenient stay. The staff ABSOLUTELY speak English and are VERY kind and communicative. Comfortable and spacious king suites! We would definitely stay again.

Staff was super friendly. They knew all about the local restaurants and pointed us in the direction of the best bbq chicken pizza I have ever eaten in my whole life. Then upon checking out I was talking about how I don't have an immune system and the front desk guy gave me an n95 mask. Such a wonderful room everything was clean and just perfect!! I'd definitely come back again and again. Oh and that sunset wow that was so gorgeous!! Super friendly staff and super clean rooms.

Yeah I'm pretty happy with my stay here. Granted I don't have a ton of experience with staying at hotels but just the fact I was able to bring my dog with me for a small extra fee really was great. No complaints.

Upon arriving at this location at a late hour, I was pleasantly greeted by the night clerk who smiled as they spoke. I was not just given my key and told which room after check in. The clerk explained the breakfast accomodations, the television assortment and the various hotel policies that I needed to know. Additionally, I was wished an enjoyable stay. I found the room and the hotel to be clean and in good condition.
I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel and it's staff. Thank you!

Decided to take a day trip down to Freeport and Portland and booked here with my employee discount. I've never stayed here before and was a bit concerned because of the recent negative reviews. All I can say is that this hotel exceeded my expectations.

Our room was super clean, smelled very fresh, and everything from the bathroom, the tv, and headboards were perfectly dusted. The bathroom was sparkling clean and no rust or mildew in the tub. Even the toilet looked perfectly spotless. I don't even think there was a single stain in the carpet either.

Front desk staff were friendly when I checked in and when I departed which is something I always look for. We didn't partake in breakfast because we were running behind due to a power outage (not the hotels fault).

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. I stay at many choice properties and this was among the cleanest and most comfortable I've been to.

First off, Amanda, the young woman at the front desk needs 20 stars for her extremely friendly and polite customer service. I messed up my reservation on Expedia booking a month ahead instead of for tonight (mind you I showed up at 8pm), and she was able to get me a room (cheaper than Expedia) right on the spot in a few minutes. We got to share a good laugh and small talk and it was the smoothest check in experience. Hope the comoany recognizes her pride in her job.

The room itself was cleaner than expected for a 3 star hotel and you could tell it was cleaned well. Better than expected all around, definitely recommend for a motorcycle trip overnight stay.

Great value. The common spaces were a bit worn, but I appreciate that the hotel has prioritized keeping the rooms fresh, clean and updated rather than the other way around. Overall the hotel was clean, safe (there were at least 4 Maine State Troopers staying during my stay, which was a bonus for feeling safe), quiet and friendly all at a great value in a quaint town!

My friend and I stayed this past weekend for a letterboxing event. The staff was wonderful. Shannon and Chevy went above and beyond making our stay there great. Shannon even made us a batch of cookies sometime around midnight, and they were delicious. Can't say enough about the two of them.
Our room was fine and we were allowed to indulge our crazy hobby right there at the inn. Totally happy with my stay there.
Five stars from me.

This was an excellent place to spend the night. I was traveling home and decided it was too late to finish the drive. We stopped at Quality Suites for the night. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here.
