Red Wing - Rockford, IL

The redwing team member took their time to make sure I had the right fit and good insoles to help with my foot pain. Last time I came in a different team member did not have me use the foot measuring/ walking machine and definitely did not get as good of a fit on the shoes I got that time.

Very pleasant, no pressure to buy the higher priced shoes. They stayed with me and answered any questions I had. They let me pick the shoes I wanted.

I got what I know my feet are comfortable with at was a great experience with the sales man that took care of me very polite and respectful

Rockford is the best r swing store hands down I won’t go anywhere else, the sycamore store ordered my boots and told me 6 months to wait for them 9 months later I had them refund me because they told me I had to pick another pair of boots, I called Rockford and I had my boots in three days. My boots are not just boots they are a tool and safety gear thank you Rockford you guys are the best and the employees are always quick and friendly.

Always a good experience at the Rockford Store. Staff always helpful and friendly. Also great product availability or quick delivery of orders where products not in store.

4/22/2023 I have been a loyal Redwings customer my whole working career. I’ve always worn a logger boot, started with a pair of 219’s then eventually switched to the 4420’s have had several pairs over the years my last pair lasted almost 3 years. But today it was time for a new pair of boots. I went to the Rockford IL location for a new pair found the 2217 loggers which are made in the USA which to me is a huge deal. Audrey was an amazing help, from measuring my feet to ensure the perfect fit, sizing my insoles to make sure they fit perfectly, we discussed issues I had developed in my last pair of boots over time of hard wear and tear. Out of the box the 2217’s were amazing I’ve never been wowed by a pair of boots like that. I cannot thank Audrey enough for the help, it was an amazing experience, and everything I’ve come to expect from Redwings

We love the quality of Redwing and Audrey is an amazing associate. I actually look forward to the expense because I know the customer service is tip tier. Today was exceptionally busy, and it was just her on the floor and she was still able to give us attention and service in a timely manner.

My most comfortable pair of shoes were my safety toe, Red Wing boots. Tonight I stopped by for replacement pair of shoe laces. No charge. (2021)

Bought a pair of boots today and the staff was extremely helpful, and I learned new things I didn't know before about how I wear my shoes. 10/10 will be back soon to buy another pair.

I have had excellent service in this location ~ multiple times. If they did not have the proper size or fit, it was promptly ordered and sent to my home ~ no shipping charges. The shoes and boots are superior quality. Bothy husband and myself wear them. All around great experience. I usually have Nick helping me and he goes that extra mile. :)

I start a new job as a laborer in a couple weeks and needed a pair of safety toe boots. Everyone I asked said go to red wing. When I got there I was sized immediately and when I gave them my price range, they were able to point me towards a few different styles. Ended up going with the 6 inch King toes. Super comfortable and the feel like they could have a bomb dropped on them with no damage. I was helped by Chris and he was very patient with me while I tried on pair after pair and made sure I understood the warranty because that was something I was worried about. Red wing is like the Lexus of work boots. Dependable, comfortable, and built to last. Nothing but good words for this place.

I highly recommend this shoe place and ASK FOR DYLAN!! He was there to help my boyfriend and I when we first went to pick out shoes. We ended up having to do an exchange and they did it with no question. Dylan was there on his day off, saw us, and helped us out even though he was not on the clock. He got us the exact pair of boots we were looking for an they were perfect. I really appreciated all his help and taking the time to listen to what we needed in a work boot.

This store is amazing!!! I have been a customer of this store for awhile. I have bought boots, had boots serviced and got accessories from them. I have never had a negative experience and the staff is always helpful! I have moved out of state and still drive back to them for my redwings. I recently experience a failure with a pair of redwings that I had to buy from a different dealer (due to work reasons) and they not only gave me repair options but after taking the time to look into the issue further deemed it a defect in redwings part and bent over backwards to right the situation! I would highly recommend this store!

Just had a pair of boots resoled. I was told around three weeks. It was done within two. I had a toe guard ripped off from work, their team went above and beyond for me and touched what was ripped off on the toe guard. Adam their employee saw my red wings I had on last night were dry and offered to oil them up. I felt his service was going above and beyond for me. I am on my 3rd pair of red wings from this store. I love the brand and boots I can't see me wearing anything else. I put them on at 3:30 am and don't take them off till 6-9:30 at night and my feet never hurt.. Thank you for the good service.

On Thursday, 4/4/2019, I walked into Red Wing Shoes for the first time. I was there to buy a pair of shoes for work. The salesman, Mr. Dylan Ross, was extremely patient with me even though I tried on 6 different styles of shoes and he had 9 other customers to wait on. If you want to know the kicker, he was the ONLY salesman in the store at the time. Any other human being would have gone crazy, but not Mr. Ross. He was cool, calm, and collected. He maintain a professional manner all while exercising patients. I have had my shoes now for 2 days and they feel better than my slippers. So if you pay this store a visit, ask for Dylan Ross to help you and you will be 100% satisfied.

Wonderful service. Fine selection of work boots, both steel toed and regular. We bought the insoles, too -- machine will diagram how you carry ypur weight, height of the arch, etc., so the insole is correct. They carried boots for specialty trades, too, like welding boots with covered laces, or acid proof and water proof boots. They accept vouchers for work boots from area businesses, too.

The staff is always great and they try their best to get your boots to last many years. Everything I buy for my boots they always offer to take care of it. I love my steel toes and they have had no problem lasting through some tough days.
