Great place! So glad they're keeping the vibe alive. I'm a sucker for concert dvd's and they don't disappoint. My collection keeps growing thanks to them. Super knowledgeable staff and tons of vintage-modern components and spearkes for all the audiophiles. They also have a local repair service to fix your broken units. 👍🏻👍🏻

I literally love this place so much I haven't been to the new location yet and it was awesome inside there as well the vibe is SO chill I bought 2 awesome pink Floyd posters for a good price might I add and the owner guy I'm pretty sure he's the owner at least cause everytime I've went he's been there is so nice gotta be one of the nicest guys in the music shop business he's always greets and checks out with a smile and he's so polite love this store would recommend and will go again

Huge selection of CDs reasonably priced. Great vinyl and vintage audio hardware selection as well. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

Great bunch, very helpful with testing an old turntable of mine
and even giving me parts to take home and try with my receiver.
Said I could just return it the following day or pay for it later if it worked. Amazing customer service!!
Will be returning to look around and pick up some more albums to play as well.

Owner is super decent, occasionally letting something go for free if buying a lot. Selection is deep across all genres. Price is fair on used equipment and on rarities. Good quality on everything I have purchased. Definitely coming back.

One of the best CD and vinyl resell places in the state. I’ve always been able to find whatever R&B, Soul, Rap/Hip-Hop, Jazz, Blues and Gospel CD’s I’m looking for. One of the most friendliest places to shop in the Tri-State. I travel over 100 miles to shop at this store. Glad you’re back in business, CD Source.

I discovered the past and it was so overwhelming that I have to come back and start from the "E section." It's so much music so bring a neck brace 🤌. It was amazing.

I collect CDs and LPs I have been to all the other CD/Record stores in town and CD Source give the best service and buy them for a good price. But you have to remember that they need to have enough to sell and make a profit also. The vintage stereos are really cool. I bought a few

wish there were more CD-centric stores around here, I love this place! they even have a small record selection that has some fantastic picks as well. cherry on top for me though is the demo stations. I have been saying this for years that every music store should have those setup. overall will be coming back very often as I always find something I'm looking for.

I bought my wife a little record player on Amazon and came to CD Source to get some vinyl. Within a few days we came back for more and actually wound up buying a better turntable, receiver, and speakers to boot! Cool store, good prices, and AMAZINGLY helpful staff.

This is a fantastic store with super helpful staff. Tons and tons of CD's but a lot of vinyl as well and growing. Worth a stop. They are re-open and already have a great supply of CD's and vinyl. Some really good vinyl stuff you don't see every day. I'd give them a "6" if I could!

I was here for the first time. I found a few Vinyl records I've been looking for. The prices are are fair. They have CD's too but I only buy Vinyl. I'll be back for sure 👍They get new stuff all the time so stop in often. Gift cards make great gifts ‼

CD Source is one of my favorite places to shop if you love to collect vinyl records, CD's, DVD's, Blu Ray, Laser Disc's, video games and equipment. It's an amazing store and you'll never know what you're going to find, so shop often as inventory is always changing. Plus, they will also buy if you're selling. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about CD Source. They have a MASSIVE selection of records, CDs, DVDs and video games. Stereo equipment as far as the eye can see.
Brian the owner (who wasnt even upset that i just learned his name a week ago despite being a frequent customer for 25 years) is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and his two cohorts (I'm sorry, I don't know their names) are super friendly and helpful as well.
They have a case full of rare, import, and out-of-print CDs where I always find a treasure. The new arrival bin could be restocked a bit more often, but then again I'm there about twice a week, and they have lots of other stuff to work on, so I understand. And don't get me started on the overhead lights made from drums -- they're awesome. Oh, and they have tons of obscure and rare box sets and assorted treasures on the wall behind the registers too. Seriously, you can't possibly walk out of this place without seeing a bunch of cool stuff you'd love to have, no matter what you're into.
I can't recommend CD Source highly enough; it's truly a Rockford gem.

Great store. Great selection. Awesome pricing. The guy helping me locate some of my 70's and 80's music was very patient and more importantly helpful. The CD's were well organized. The prices on used amps, receivers and speakers appeared to be excellent. I honestly can't say enough good things about the store. I can't wait to go back when I have plenty of time to simply browse the bins.
