The experience we had at American mattress in Joliet IL, was wonderful. Chad provided a ton of information regarding different mattresses, options, manufacturing, and quality. He had answers for all our questions. buying a mattress is not an easy purchase it’s something you want but it’s not something that you necessarily need, and he made it a very pleasant and easy experience. Chad took notes when I called before stopping by. I’ve been in agony with the hybrid mattresses while battling cancer. He was so kind, patient and helpful with helping me picking out the perfect mattress for my petite self. Great price and speedy delivery was an added perk. I recommend stopping by there before buying from any others.

Chad, the store manager, was AMAZING! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about what they could offer. He gave us the space to try different mattresses, asked relevant questions, and shared his own experiences. There was no pressure to make a purchase and all of this ultimately earned our business. We made the purchase on Friday and everything was delivered today (Tuesday).

The delivery experience was great as well. We got our 2 hour appt window yesterday and we were notified 30 min prior to arrival. The delivery specialists were friendly and polite. They asked if they could see where they would be setting things up and confirmed the height of the base desired and got started. I had already cleared the area and put the old mattress and box springs in the hallway to make things easy. After setup they showed me the remote and confirmed satisfaction. They were in and out in about 20min. I highly recommend the Joliet IL location if you're in the market for a new mattress. Ask for Chad! 👍🏽

We knew we needed a new mattress. The one we had was horrible. We just didn’t know what would work for us. I have a bad back, need a firmer mattress and wanted a adjustable bed frame but knew that was out out of price range. My husband wanted quality and to stay in budget. He didn’t need or want an adjustable bed. Alex Appel put together a packaged that got us everything we both wanted and needed including an adjustable frame - all for what other places wanted to sell us the mattress alone for. He is highly knowledgeable, intuitive helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend you go see him before you purchase elsewhere.

Overall great experience. Solid selection of beds. The main reason we purchased a $2,000 bed from this location was 100% because of the salesman Alex. Very knowledgeable and not over-barring. I fully expected to shop around for awhile...in and out in an hour and very happy with everything.

We just bought a Sealy Grace Plush bed from Alex. He made us feel very welcoming and comforting in the store. He showed us a variety of beds, being very informative. Highly recommend anyone looking for a bed to go see him.

The sales rep that helped us out knew all about the mattresses that they sold, from best high priced comfort - to affordable comfort. Speaking for pricing, they are half as expensive as their competitors and willing to work out deals, if needed. I highly recommend giving them a try.
