Al's Steak House Restaurant

First off, Maggie was amazing! Her service was kinda and she was very helpful when it came to the menu! The food was delicious, the steak melted completely🤌🏼. Visiting from Arizona, thank you for your kind hospitality.

This is my first time coming here. Went to a work party. Food was amazing. Huge portions of food. The Clam Chowder was the best I have ever had. The mash potatoes was really good too. Beautiful inside as well. I would highly recommend.

We have been to Al's twice, and the atmosphere, service and food is excellent. Reminds me of the supper clubs that are slowly closing in and around Chicago. Definitely worth the price of quality seafood and try the Brandy Alexander!

No more Sunday brunch, they got rid of it after the covid pandemic.
The steaks and the service is still top notch.
I highly recommend the porterhouse steak, prime rib and the calamari.

I went there for Sunday brunch and I was pleasantly surprised. What an awesome old school service and unbelievable buffet, priced just right for the amount and quality of food. The drinks are not included in the price of the buffet, but I think it's still a good deal. The management and wait staff are super friendly and provide you with superior service that you just don't get at those chain restaurants, to me this is like a "Supper Club". I can't wait to come back and try the Friday seafood buffet and the rest of their menu.

Wow, there is no need to go anywhere else for a great dinner. Our friends had salmon and lamb, my wife and I had rib eye. We all loved the food. The soup was also fantastic. Our waitress, Taylor was outstanding. When asked about the martinis available she listed them and then to our surprise brought the bartender over to describe them in detail. Oh my, they were dangerously good. It was a Sunday so not sure the bartender can do that on a Saturday or Friday night when they will be busier.

My wife and I ate at Al's Steakhouse tonight. The food (filet mignon, twice baked potato, stuffed mushrooms, and french onion soup) was great. The service was great (thanks, Nicole). The atmosphere was great. The only negative point was the cheesecake. It was just a few degrees warmer than frozen. I've found this to be a common problem with restaurant cheesecake. Cheesecake is better when cool and soft, not near frozen and hard. Other than that, no complaints. I will be back.

Lamb was amazing! Service was superb! Everyone is friendly! Booths were comfy! Split pea soup was the best I have ever had!

The wife and i went for the first time in 28 years. Still superb. Taylor was our server and top shelf. Compliments to the chef. The dress code could be brought back. Best 2 hours spent and a great meal.

This is a great place for a good steak. Excellent seafood. I miss the salad bar. But always get excellent service. Very clean. Great staff never had an empty glass of water. If you're in the area and looking for a great meal this is the place. You won't be disappointed.

Best of the Best! Amazing food,excellent service,atmosphere conducive to relaxed dining . Owner came to table on several occasions to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Genuinely wants diners to have the very best experience. Invited our son to dinner with us he had never been there and was very much pleased with the whole experience and will be back with his family.

Our son took us for Easter dinner yesterday. Hubby and I had delicious orange roughy and our son had prime rib which was a little too well done for his liking. Paulette immediately took it back and came back with a perfectly cooked one before we knew it. She was a wonderful waitress and the food was outstanding as well. The owner stopped by our table too. Making the reservation online helped tremendously.

By far the greatest food I've eaten, since moving to Joliet. From the hostess to the waitress the service was awesome. The owner was spectacular. I will definitely be going back very soon. Unbelievable price for the portions of our meals. Very affordable.

Wonderful ambiance for a steakhouse, great service and delicious food. This was my first time to celebrate family birthdays and I can't wait to return. I enjoyed the petit filet medium, it was so tender and juicy. We ordered shrimp cocktail and the shrimp were an impressive size.

Great service and excellent food. They took us early for our reservation and our waiter was very polite, helpful, and personable. The food was amazing from the appetizers to entrées. Steak was cooked perfectly. Very clean restaurant, bathrooms, and excellent ambiance.

Everything we had here was excellent. The steaks were great and so was the shrimp. Service was excellent too.

The raspberry white chocolate cheesecake was outstanding.

Just drove straight from Minneapolis to Als Steakhouse for my birthday dinner. It's totally worth the extra drive to get an amazing dinner before heading to downtown. The service and consistency of the food hasn't changed in the 6 years I've been coming here. Love ❤ it!!!

Well run old school steakhouse. You'll definitely leave full and satisfied. Our server Tina was very helpful and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try out their ribeye!

Always a good time at Al's. No better place for a great meal. Prime rib is the best cut. Sheila our server is so very personable. I love the curvy booths. We eat at Al's for special occasions and date nights.

Was just there on my birthday this year. My family and I have been to this restaurant since my childhood and still to this day, we enjoy it. Between the steak meals and especially the chicken strips with ranch dip that my mom and I loved.

Great place for a date night.
Steak was just incredible if you're in Joliet or surrounding area this is the place to go for a good dinner.
Really friendly staff did a great job.
