Put simply, I love this place. Through all the ups and downs of my life and my faith, Forest City Church has been there. Many of the most significant events of the last decade of my existence have taken place within these walls. And as my faith has evolved over the years, so has Forest City, but in the best ways possible. I love what the church has become in the past couple years. I love the focus on racial reconciliation and it being a hill that Eric says he will die on. Amen. And me too. And it's not just talk with them. They're putting their money where their mouths are in hiring and what they preach.

Also, being a person who has been hurt by Christian institutions in the past, Forest City has given me a safe space to heal, and unfortunately, that is rare in far too many evangelical spaces.

To sum it all up: It feels like a family because it is.

Amazing atmosphere. Even more amazing people. This church has helped me find a better life. From addiction to clean to God. This will be my forever home church.

Borrowing a couple of phrases from the series The Chosen that I think exemplifies this church, “Come and see” and “Get used to different”. FCC is all about Him being is at the center of it all. We say…Anyone and Everyone! It’s not a slogan. It’s an action. It’s a way of life. I can’t wait to see what God’s got planned when we can do it together for Him.

Heartland has been my home for 3 years. I have always felt welcomed from the first time I walked through the doors. They offer many programs during during the week like Base Camp for men. Marriage Matters and Rebuilders are a study for couples or those trying to rebuild after a divorce. Every Thursday night they have Celebrate Recovery for anyone who is going through a hurt, habit or hang-up in their life. They have junior high and high school youth groups as well.

I love this Church. I love the series of Sundays that build on learning and worship. The bible applied to today's events. How you walk away with understanding and faith, knowing there's a light at the end of the tunnel and its not a train. Hope, Love, Peace. The music a huge bonus. This is where a family should start their children. And the elderly get it. A church for all ages.

If you're looking for a church that focuses on your relationship with Jesus, than this is the church for you! When they say anyone and everyone, they mean it. Their Subversive series in Feb 2022 was phenomenal and the Lent devotionals sent by email have been amazing as well. If you miss a message, you can listen on Spotify or Apple Podcast. Tiny Church is another great resource to fill your tank. Not only does Forest City give generously to our community, they are generous globally as well and really appreciate their volunteers! Lastly the staff is extremely energetic and welcoming and you will not find a better worship team ! I feel so blessed to have Forest City Worship here!

I've attended this church with my spouse for 15+ years. When our kids were born, we had them both dedicated here with Pastor Doug. Our oldest attends the Middle School program on Weds now and our youngest still goes to Carbon. I appreciate how the outside area has seating where you can eat and drink and listen to the sermon if you don't choose to sit in the Atrium. I am hard of hearing and with my hearing aid the main Atrium can at times be too loud for me so I have a comfy spot outside in the hall and I love that. I have met several life long friends at Heartland and we bonded with our Team World Vision m as marathon run. I do miss Mike Breaux and Josh Peigh, I am not yet familiar with our new Lead Pastor, I was/am hoping for someone who is diverse enough to lead a diverse community. We will see if this new Pastor fits the bill.

This is a review of Heartland's "A Night To Remember". What an amazing thing for area people with special needs. The prom-goers are set up with a free tux/dress, the girls get makeovers, limo rides, dinner and dancing and all is free for attendees. The youth group are clearly just as excited as the prom-goers. I hope they are able to continue this in the future!

My daughter and her friend began coming to your youth group on Wed night recently (the youth group at the church we go to is a work in progress). They absolutely LOVE it! We have been going to our church for 7 1/2 years and I cannot remember the last time she came home from church and talked literally all night long NON STOP about how much she loved youth group. So, from a mom, thank you!

Great Welcoming Church, wonderful Services, great music, it's a different way to do Church in a great way. The entire family looks forward to going to Church each Week from the Adults to the Children, and Grandchildren. Have introduced many family members and friends to Heartland and all who have gone love it and look forward to coming back.

We moved 3+ hours away and still made the drive regularly, there is no other church like this that we have found.
You lean about God's love but you can just be yourself. Come as you are, accepted as you are.

My wife and I had a blessed time going back if God let us live to see Sun morning please keep us in you all 🙏 and we will do the same

I've attended here for seven years as a believer in Jesus Christ; however, my relationship has changed to that of a follower after beginning participation in a few of the Small Group ministries. There is value in either role, and everyone is welcomed, at whatever belief level they choose.
Weekly messages, often from Mike Breaux, are frequently POWERFUL and insightful about Biblical teachings for our lives. Occasionally, there is experience-sharing from HCC members that really bring home Mike's and God's message(s). Wow!
Come visit any time, but not simply online. There is so much more to the services when they're experienced in person.

Tonight was my first time at Heartland. It felt so warm and welcoming. Thank you foŕ having Steve Carter preaching. I felt safe.

A joy filled experience and the message gives me hope each new day. Great leadership and united family to serve our mission as follows of Jesus Christ.

Heartland Church welcomes all sinners, in all stages of spirituality and teaches directly from the Bible as a relevant tool to help us learn to accept, live and love ourselves and others.

i love this church i would come back with the wittensberg family again and again its better then the northwesterrn bible baptist church they were the worst church i ever went to i rather go to this before i go to that one again i swear they had a fat guy stand in front of us and just talked to the church for a good two hours long i hated it pleaz and thank you i loved your church ''i hope god is with me all day and everyday theirs nothing you guys have to do to change it
