Great service from the staff to the food!
The place was very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Al pastor meat was very well seasoned (not spicy but with a good kick to it) and the steak meat was tender and juicy. Our favorites were the homemade gorditas and Guaraches because we could taste the freshness and quality. Would definitely recommend and go again for the authentic feel and overall quality all at reasonable prices.

We usually get take out. It's on time and hot when we get there as well as well packaged for the ride home. This is a go to Mexican food spot for us.

Their caldo 7 mares was so good I loved it had this chipotle taste deff good for a hangover and their shrimp empanadas

Well its was amazing more than expected the young waitress was so welcoming made the envierment so delightful had their rice water horchata was great 👍. My child had there stake plate so tender properly seasoned. Definitely coming back ....

Very clean establishment and friendly staff and as a Miamian it is a very lovely place if you're ever in Rockford you have got to eat here the food is outstanding five stars wish there were more!!!

I have never been disappointed with the food quality nor service! Employees are friendly and are always happy to ensure you have a great experience. The food is ALWAYS made fresh and it shows in the flavor. I have so many great things to say about this restaurant. Chilangos quickly became one of my family’s favorite restaurants.

Chilangos is literally one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants I've been to. I'm so happy my sister told me about this place. I choose this place over any other Mexican restaurant in rockford, IL any day .

Just finished a late night meal with the family and it was absolutely delicious! First time trying out Chilangos and it did not disappoint! Fajitas were perfect, even my 2 year old ate every bite of her steak taco that was cut up in perfect bite size pieces for her! We will be ordering from here again!

Compared to most Mexican restaurants around the area this is the best for me by far. Very authentic flavor and food.

A local favorite on the southeast side of Rockford. Family owned and family staffed. Authentic Mexican restaurant. Always top shelf superior wait staff. Food quality has always been absolutely great. Cleanliness is a standard here.
