Great venue for homecoming celebration.

It's located on the middle of town, near food and restrooms. There is a playground, and buildings that can be rented for events. There is a gazebo and picnic tables available to the public.

I personally love this park. Plenty of places nearby to get refreshments & an awesome Coal Miners Memorial. I take my daughter & dog up there. Always young kids for daughter to play with (parents overlap watching so you get to enjoy time in park as well). Often stay up there for hours reading. They also host trick or treating on Halloween & homecoming festivities.

Nice equipment. Smaller so its feasible for little ones, but still fun for bigger kids. Regular, handicap and baby swings, basketball, tennis and sand volleyball courts. Shaded picnic tables and benches. All around pleasant and well kept city park!

They always have a great carnival and music for the Rend Lake days in June. The food is the best, especially the BBQ and corn.

They have a great weekend in June the Sesser/Rend Lake days or homecoming. Great entertainment, sweet corn and carnival rides.

Love when they have Sesser Rend lake Days. Week of awesome fun. Picnic, food, rides, n parade. Otherwise good for family picnic, has park for kids to play on.
