Jones Memorial Park

A multi use park. A nice big hill that you can sled down in the winter. A playground and pavilion on ybe top of the hill with some good views of mt trashmore as well as the downtown cedar rapids area. A disc golf course. Swimming pool. Pickel ball courts. 3 baseball diamonds.

Beautiful park! Good disc golf, but always windy.

236-acre city park includes ten pickleball courts, softball diamonds, swimming pool, tennis courts and soccer fields. It also features pavilions, disc golf course, cross-country ski course, cross-country running course and horseshoe court. In the winter enjoy a sledding hill and toboggan run

Jones Park is great for running hills in the Spring, summer, & fall seasons and you can sled down the hills in the winter. They have a great disc golf course, outdoor pool, a couple pavilions for picnics & family reunions as well as a pound. Several teams use the baseball fields & soccer fields for practices & tournaments.

Nice big park. Stayed hunkered down up against the pool building during this horrible storm. Not much left of the trees as they are all blown apart just hoping these winds stop soon as i dont feel like flying away today

Had a nice stroll through the park and landed at one of the pavilions by the pond. Was very peaceful!

Landscape is gorgeous, but not a great place if you hate geese

Fun park all year long! Great for people of all ages.

I go to the pool at this park. It's a great pool for kids 12 and younger! My grandson loves it here. Deepest part of pool is 6ft. No diving boards but has a slide and a great little area for small young children that's 0inches-1ft deep.

This park has a lot to it. Disc golf, playground, exercise area, pavilions and a pond, public swimming pool, soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts as well. Great place to be on a sunny day.

Really nice park! Nice amenities and activities. Pavilion is a little expensive.

I have very fond memories here as a young lass, throwing discs. Nowadays, I take my kids here to play at the park. It will never be the same since the drecho knocked all of the trees down, but I think the city is doing a great job maintaining and restoring it.

Great place to take the kids and let them play on the play equipment, have a family picnic at one the grills or take a walk with the dog. Plenty of room to play soccer, basketball, throw the football around or sit down and take in some fresh air. Also a good place to go bird watching, practice some photography or feed the fish in the pond.

Very nice place to go get away from the house. Clean. Seems fairly safe. Has a community pool, but due to COVID or whatever the reason be, they had it closed for the last year or two.

I saw a soccer game in action.... cultural diversity...
