This is favorite place of mine. I go often. It's perfect for kayaking, walking the trail
And Rock hounding. The drought this year exposed area's that have been underwater longer than I've been alive and I found some Amazing Rock's.

Peaceful destination for biking, walking, fishing and kayaking. Hopefully someday Otis Rd. will be improved for safer biking to this destination.

Beautiful, calm and sanctuary like lake. Plenty of stocked fish, abundant amount of wildlife including birds, reptiles, fish and more. Peaceful place to paddle or kayak on your own or with friends. Water is clear (deep in certain areas) and calm allowing a kayaker or paddle boarder at any level to enjoy this fishery. Very large can spend hours if you like touring around the water to see what it has to offer. Highly recommend visiting. Plenty of parking and docking areas. Well kept and maintained!

This place is a great trail. I just wish there were more responsible dog owners who would pick up after their dogs.

A good place to go for a walk or run. There is a 1.8 mile loop.around the back waters of the cedar here or you can take a detour and head out to the sac and fox trail. You can also use this as a starting point to go ontonotis road so many running or walking options available. There is a porta potty available in the parking lot if you are in need of that as well. Never seems to be many people here a hidden gem within the Cedar Rapids city limits.

Had a fun, relaxing walk with family. Great place to visit to get out into nature. It’s fun to take pictures of the plants while you walk, use the (PictureThis app) & learn what they are.

Love to walk there. It's beautiful and full of birds in the trees. I wish the bicycles would stay away. They have miles of trails!!! My 🐕 and I like to hear nature, not talking and loud bad music

Paved. Handicapped accessible. Views of river. Dogs on leash. Portable restroom.
Strong creosote odor on one side of loop due to railroad.

This was my dog (Buddy) favorite place to go for a walk! It is a beautiful trail that circles back around with the water. I continue to walk in his honor even though he has passed. I have good memories of this place and time spent with him.

Nice, clean recreational area. Plenty of spots to fish with two boat ramps and a dock. The only downside is the bathroom is a portable that isn't kept up well.

The Willis Dady Race was held here. I have never been out here prior to this but it is beautiful. The path is paved and it makes a huge difference. Dog friendly as long as a leash is on. People seem to take good care of this as many had their dogs but left no evidence of this to be stepped in.
