Hampton Inn Cedar Rapids

Micheal at the front desk very caring and empathetic to me as I shared my thoughts about visiting my daughter for a weekend trip. She offered tissues as I became teary and even shared that she has felt the same way when she visits her daughter.
The housekeeper from Jamaica I think her name is Mary, she is an amazing woman. We shared small talk about life in Iowa. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location because of the people, the cleanliness and service is definitely worth the ratings of 5-Star.

Good location, clean rooms, tasty hot breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff made this a great choice when looking for something close to the Amana Colonies (a short 20 min drive through lovely countryside.)

I would recommend this location close to restaurants within one or two blocks walk. Staff at hotel was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel clean.

I thought the price was a little high for Cedar Rapids but it was worth the money. Very clean from the lobby all the way to our room. The room was nice and the closet was spacious. The bathroom was impressive with all the walls being done in a material that is easy to wipe down. The pool was clean. The staff was very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was fast and easy. Friendly employees. Clean rooms with soft bedding. Staff were accommodating as they allowed us to use the pool and weight room after hours.

My daughter-in-law and I were traveling across the country with a dog. We had had reservations at the nearby Econolodge with her points - you can go read my review about that one. So around 1 AM we checked in here yes it cost her more points but boy what a difference. The nice person at the desk gave us a welcome bag for the dog. And because I was at that point totally wiped out I asked them if they had any hot chocolate and he said yes but the water was no longer very hot so I mixed it up and he took the cup and went to a microwave and heated it up for me. We got checked into our room which was clean, the beds were comfortable the dog was happy. We had told him about our experience at Econolodge and I told him what a difference it was from there to here a few blocks away yes more points on a different hotel account but wow- lessons learned. My daughter-in-law and I and the dog all got a very good nights sleep - she and I had a good breakfast and we got on our way.

Had a great one night stay here for work. The outside does not do justice to the hard work they are doing inside. They are the midst of renovating the facility and doing a great job. The staff was super friendly and my Diamond status was acknowledged. As you can see in the pictures of my room they take the time to see to the little details to make you feel special. The setup was great and top notch. The curtain covering the 'closet' was pulled back just enough that you knew that it was the closet, but not so much to distract from the look of the room. The bed was great, and the shower head was perfect!! Thanks for the great stay!!!

Our room was very nice modern and the bed was extra comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed and seemed to be in good repair. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for some advice about places to eat. The only problem at all was at breakfast. The coffee wasn't good but this often happens at hotels. The staff was not adequate for the breakfast rush. One person was going as fast as she could but could not keep up, so adding another person on a busy weekend would probably be to your advantage.

This was an unexpected stop due to a storm passing through and they were able to take care of us and gave us a great rate on a room. The room was clean and the breakfast was hot and fresh. The dining area is very clean and well kept. They even had fresh smoothies available during breakfast.

We had stayed due to a scheduled out patient surgery and living 2 hours away we decided to stay. The staff were great. Very friendly and accommodating. Knowing why we were there they made sure to have us on the first floor, made sure we knew where the ice machine was and when we skipped housekeeping services, they made sure we had everything needed waiting by the door. It didnt also hurt that both nights there were fresh cookies waiting in the lobby or hot tea if needed. :) We will be back.

This is one of the nicest chain hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, and they have a plethora of amenities. The staff went out of their way to help me find clothes hangers and give my family the small things we needed to take care of ourselves. Coffee and cookies are free and fresh all day. There were so many choices for breakfast and it was delicious and filling. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.
The only suggestion I could make is to please put a chair in the laundry room. This seems inconsequential considering the service we received here, though.

I like the variety of breakfast alternatives offered. There is variation with the egg, meat, and waffles. The staff was nice too. I like that they don't come in your room to clean until you check out when visiting for multiple days.

It was very nice inside. Workers were friendly, room was clean. It's close enough to drive to Cedar Rapids, but the hotel itself is kind of in the middle of nowhere. The restaurants nearby don't open early enough if you are staying in the hotel because you have an early flight the next day. I was only a guest at the hotel for a few hours, but I had a pleasant experience and would certainly stay again.

What a great place to stay! All of the staff are super friendly and go out of the way to make your experience a pleasant one! Tim, Jason, and Shannon were all very helpful. Tim set us up in an area where we could scrapbook together in the evening and really made our evening a treasure! Very clean and comfortable rooms. We will definitely be making this place our first choice for any future stays in the Cedar Rapids area!

We have stayed at this property several times and have not been disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe during our stay. The beds are very comfortable!!!

Very friendly staff! We stayed there due to a funeral in town and they were great at accommodating all of us! Clean rooms and my kids loved the pool! I would definitely recommend them and will for sure stay with them the next time I'm in town!

Stayed for a wedding and had bookings on and out of the block. The staff took care of the details and made sure we didn't have to. Every request we had was quickly and completely resolved. Breakfast menu rotates slightly and is standard. Pool maximum depth is a bit over 4 feet. Hot tub is ok, nothing fancy. Coming from the north the parking lot is on the other side of a boulevard, so you have to turn down another street to get in. The entrance streets aren't well labeled. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again if in the area.

We travel often to Iowa to visit family and always stay here. Rooms are comfortable and clean; but it's the customer service that brings us back over the many options in the area. Special shout out to Tristan at the front desk who let us use his personal iPhone charger when we forgot ours. We were so grateful!

Warm, friendly and professional staff. Clean, modern rooms and quiet atmosphere for a wonderful night's sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean front desk kind people, we came for a family funeral, they made it easy for us. I would greatly recommend this hotel.We were a family of 10 kept us all on same floor.
