Ramada Hotel & convention center Cedar Rapids

Nice hotel with truck parking hotel looked a little rough outside but very nice and clean inside for a budget hotel . Room was clean bathroom was clean and updated no funny smells . Plus they had laundry for guest only con is you need to get your own quarters they do not give change. Young men I believe are cousins who made breakfast were very friendly and polite breakfast was decent. Also a few restaurants on same block walking distance. It was a steal for 86$

It's not the ramada Inn anymore but never less it was a descent hotel no complaints

We were 2000 miles from home returning our daughter back to college. We stayed a few days over to wait for our flight home. We picked this hotel because it was close to her college, the freeway and the great price. The room was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. Close to various places to eat close by and we could walk in a few minutes. When we go visit again in the spring we'll be staying there. Awesome service.

I have stayed here various times over the years. I have always appreciated the friendly and kind staff, especially at the front desk. On my most recent visit, I was impressed with the renovations. My room was very comfortable and had new carpets, drapes, furniture, etc. Also, the hotel has gone 100% non-smoking which I really like. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen. It had lots of options, and it even included a made to order omelette, yummy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel staff have all been very helpful & friendly each time we've stayed. We had trouble with a key card not working & a housekeeper noticed. She tried her key but it didn't work either. She promptly called maintenance who changed the drained battery in the reader; took maybe 5 mins total to fix! Our rooms have always been clean & the beds/pillows are comfortable (at least to us they are). Ice & vending machines on almost every floor on the south end. The breakfast is the best we've ever had at a hotel. Hot items like bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy & waffles join traditional​ continental style breakfast foods in a room that has a more restaurant feel to it. The only negative is that there is only one washer & dryer for all six floors of guests to use. Otherwise this is our go-to hotel in Cedar Rapids.

My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by this place! We were expecting a very simple hotel to stay the night based on the price. The moment we walked in we were thinking this place is a little bit classier. It's not like some other hotels we have stayed at, you can tell that this place wasn't always a very classy place. But the staff and condition of the furniture and decor and everything told us that this place strives to be a very comfortable and well kept place. The rooms were clean, breakfast a continental but with waiters and waitresses and the food was pretty good as well.

My wife and I will definitely stay here again should we ever be in this area again!

This place is awesome, me and group of other pilots chose it because of location and pricing (hotels across the road with same services will charge twice as much), but we were very pleasantly surprised how friendly and helpful was the staff (hotel manager literally asks guests if they need anything and if everything is alright ). Rooms are clean, with fridge, microwave and huge TV. Best part is the breakfast, any food you like will be there for you. Another great thing is shuttle to and from the airport. Overall, excellent hotel with excellent service and workers! 11/10

Really nice Ramada. Rooms were clean, the staff were really friendly. Hide out lounge was the best, Lindie, our server was awesome. Wife and I both agree, we will stay at the Ramada every time we go to Cesar Rapids. Good job Ramada staff for making our stay great.

Stayed in the Ceasar Suite. The room was very nice & the 4 person hot tub was amazing. The bathroom could use a little updating, but still nice. There also was a bar and comfy king size bed. The free hot breakfast was good especially the bacon & biscuits & gravy. Would definitely stay again!

Beautifully updated lobby and hotel. Suite was updated with modern-traditional furniture and was very clean. Amazing down and down-alt pillows offered on the king bed. Two very nice flat screen HD TV's in each room and ample space with kitchenette. Quiet atmosphere and the complimentary breakfast is decent, no pancakes or waffles offered though. Most friendly hotel staff I have ever had and very accommodating! Price was outstanding for room and experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were very clean, service was good, and the beds were amazing (lots of pillows, very comfortable! slept great here). The breakfast was ok but was good as far as hotel breakfasts go, and they actually had warm food (bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, toast). Would stay here again.

Booked this reservation using points for my brother and sister-in-law. They said they enjoyed their stay. They did state the guest directory in the room was a little mangled and had water spots, but other than that had a great room. They said the staff they encountered at the desk was very helpful, however they elected to go to Burger King for breakfast. I told them the breakfast at the hotel was free though.

The Hotel at Kirkwood Center is absolutely amazing!! Hands down one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in and the service was outstanding. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. The rooms were beautiful and super clean. Front desk staff along with the shuttle drivers were so much fun and personable. A huge thank you to Jeremiah for getting us back to the hotel safe after the concert! I can't wait to stay here again. Thank you for making my weekend with my mom so special!

Get more than you paid for. The hotel is clean, offers far more ammenities than any hotel in this price range and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The building itself is a tad dated but that gives it a little charm (the elevators still have the 90's in mind but work fine). The rooms are newly painted, furnished and have a decent-sized tv for a room in this price. The hotel staff greeted me EVERY time I stepped in the lobby and I was there for TWO WEEKS! The hot breakfast is by far the best I've had for a place that didn't just offer a voucher for a connected restaurant. If you want a nice place to stay in Cedar Rapids, look this place up. The location, service and quality can't be beat in this town.

We had our wedding reception at this hotel in May of this year, I am so glad we did Chris Oborn who is the Catering/Sale Manager is the BEST!!! We had a block of rooms set aside for our family and friends and one of our relatives had trouble booking the room, not only did Chris help us, he called her personally to get her room booked. Chris made sure that ever detail was taken care of. I would highly recommend having any event here.

Don't be misled by any negative Google reviews this hotel was our best experience compared to any other in this price range. It was clean safe the staff was all courteous and attentive. Also the breakfast buffet was awesome $20 value in itself. And definitely avoid the Super 8 or any other hotels in the area in the same price range.

Very nice place. Friendly staff. Nice rooms and amenities. Breakfast was very good. Nice that it's an actual dining/restaurant type area and not just a part of the lobby. Would stay here again.

Amazing Hotel with hot breakfast buffet. Although I did get a little hostility from one of the ladies behind the front desk, I still vote five stars. It just seemed as if she was having a bad day so no I did not report her. There is one thing that's kind of messed up and that is, that most of the workers that smoke just throw their cigarette butts on the ground. Then the other worker who stands at the podium and also gives rides, he's the one that has to pick it up.

Wonderful staff and facilities. Enjoyed every minute of my stay. Everyone at the Clarion would go out of their way to help whenever needed. The food and drinks were also wonderful. Definitely staying here next time I'm in Cedar Rapids!

Nice hotel overall. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms were well kept, they had a bar open from 5-9pm, and the staff was really nice. Breakfast was the best part with a hot buffet of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit, and drinks. Great hotel for the price.
