Margarita's Mexican Grill and Cantina

I travel often and normally seek out Mexican cuisine.
I was absolutely blown away by every aspect of the experience.
The salsa was just right, flavor profile that excited my taste buds in anticipation of what was to come.
I order chicken del sol. The red sauce on the chicken was outstanding. I don't know what they do at this restaurant but everything was out of this world.

I stopped in for a second time and the food was just as amazing as the first time.

People are really nice and Kind. Food is delicious and the service is extraordinary. Have been in this place a few time and they also have consistency in their food/flavor. is good to find places like this.

Their food is definitely one of the best in town. People are friendly there and the cooks are great! Their fish soup is my favourite for sure. It is a special occasional food, and I am lucky enough to encountered it!

This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. I ordered the fajita quesadilla and was honestly so impressed. The chicken was juicy and was packed with flavor. I can’t wait to eat here again

Food was great I ordered the grilled chicken on bed of rice and queso demolished the whole plate. I dropped a bug in their ear about getting tamales... but apparently no one ate them last time on the menu ( what a shame) any way I believe the owner was serving me if he was not then hes one hell of an employee. Any way great food, fast service and really cheap$$.

Greeted by the owner and he took our food and drink order. The food took quite a while to come out, which was fine. He apologized several times and asked what he could do to make it right. The food was amazing but the service was even better. Would go again based on the service alone.

The food was amazing and service was quick for a group of 8 people. Atmosphere was great and the owner/ manager continued to check on us and have fun with our group.

Staff was very friendly. Philippi badly needs this place. My family will definitely be returning so that Philippi can have more than 1-2 sit down places to eat.
