El Rey Mexican Restaurant-Clarksburg

The staff did an amazing job taking care of us! We had a family dinner but were an hour late meeting the rest of our party due to an ER visit. Our waiter was efficient and friendly and didn't miss a beat. The food was also incredible. I had fried chicken chimichangas which were very tender and flavorful. I'm not sure whether to be proud or ashamed that I managed to finish off my whole plate!! 🤣

Ever since moving to the Bridgeport/Clarksburg area, this has been my number 1 spot to visit for authentic Mexican food in the area. The staff is very courteous and always treats you like family. They are attentive to you throughout your dining experience. Even when it is extremely busy, they make sure to top off your drinks and bring out to the table more chips and salsa.

You should get the full guacamole experience so they come to your table and make the delicious guacamole step by step. They have lots of options in the menu and also a like the idea of the perks card, so every time you go they stamp it and whenever you have certain amount of stamps you get free meal! Ill always go for the Chicken Chimichanga good food!!

I've had delivery from them for years, but this visit was my first in house. I love this place - I've enjoyed everything I've gotten, but a personal favorite is the WV Burrito.

My bookclub had our meeting with lunch and it was terrific. Everyone loved the new renovations especially the lights. We ALL liked the tableside quacamole. We WILL be back!

El Rey is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Clarksburg, West Virginia area. They are location in the plaza just a few doors down from Walmart. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious! Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend El Rey! Their jumbo burrito and ACP are both delicious!
