Big fan of Punch Love!!

We’ve always had great drinks and food here! Whether it’s a double shot of espresso, an iced americano, or one of their thoughtfully crafted seasonal drinks, the drinks always stand out.

The space is nice and we love that they have a cute courtyard area that they share with other businesses. It’s nice to be able to sit inside or outside, especially since we have a baby!

The owner, Tim, is incredibly knowledgeable about coffee and their menu and drinks reflect this. We love chatting with Tim—his love for coffee is undeniable!

My husband and I adore Punch Love!. The coffee is always phenomenal, and their seasonal drinks and slushies are especially delicious. Tim, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable — we always enjoy talking with him when we drop by. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and sitting outside is especially nice because of all the songbirds that hang out in the courtyard. 10/10 would recommend!

We’ve known Tim for years and love his coffee! He cares about his customers, asks about our personal lives and loves seeing our kids. The location is expanding (exciting) and Tim values creating an intentional space for connection and community that customers can feel welcome in. The seasonal latte flavors are creative and I go out of my way to grab a cappuccino from him on the way to work. Highly recommend!

First time, nice little shop. Only one person working, it may take time if it gets busy but they worked fast. Few variety of pastry's to eat. Some essential oils to buy is some extras. Enjoyed my visit. Limited seating inside, some seating outside.

We need more punch love! The coffee is always top tier. We love coming here! Tim is a stellar human, not to mention his thriving plants, & dazzling collection of 3D printed animals. A thoroughly enjoyable coffee experience time and time again 👏🏼.

Anywhere you can get good drip coffee and good lattes is a top tier spot for me and Punch Love fits the bill. They have a simplified menu, which means less variety but it also higher quality in all they do.

I enjoy the simplicity of both the menu, and the space. The shop itself has a lot of natural light and is minimally decorated with plants. There are lots of small tables for two but is relatively little seating for any parties of 3+, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to stay.

This is one of the best coffee shops in Birmingham! The owner is super friendly and always enjoys a quick chat while he makes your drink. The drinks are creative and the coffee itself excellent. It’s one of my favorite places to take friends on a morning out!

There’s no place like Punch Love! I’ve never known a small business in Birmingham to be so welcoming, inclusive, and passionate about their craft. And the owners could not be nicer, we love Tim and Kristian! It’s our go-to as a family and has been since they opened and we would go out of our way to visit.

one of my favorite coffee stops in bham! the owner is super fun to talk to , and the coffee is great! I love the outdoor seating, and I’m excited for them to expand their indoor seating. Love this place and wish they were open every day of the week !

Saturday morning coffee stop. We got 2 cappuccinos with a morning bun and a croissant. The pastries were very good as were the cappuccinos. The croissant was the size of a cat and buttery sweet. The coffee lacked the bitter espresso edge that I love, but was good and on part with June's or Filter's. Not much space inside Punch Love but the patio should be very nice soon.

This coffee shop is great! The best parts: it’s a small owned business. Matt is on the grind doing his best to serve the best coffees. Their ingredients are way cleaner than most coffee shops. There is a cute little patio that has sunny spots as well as shady spots.

The things that could use improvement: there was no wifi option available. This was due to the fact that Matt renovated the space fully 2 weeks ago… it will be up and running soon! The tables outside are hard to work on because there are gaps along the tops. It would be great to have some options with umbrella seating outside. This would allow you to be able to work on the computer outside with no glare. There are also no outlets outside. But there are some inside!

Overall the coffee is the bomb, go check it out!

Always a great visit! Tim is a pretty cool guy who knows a lot about coffee! Put it in reverse Terry is my fav seasonal drink but Live, Laugh, Love is a close second! Hands down my fav coffee spot to visit every Wednesday!

Punch Love has the best coffee in Birmingham and keeps great retail beans, swag, coffee stuff available. Interesting rotation of beans (Proud Mary, Thankfully, others) available on espresso, and good drip coffee and frozen drinks. The barista has really good advice on beans to buy if you want to try something at home, and he keeps a fun menu of specialty coffee drinks running each season. Also, Punch Love brings in fresh pastries from another bham favorite, Last Call Baking if you get there early enough.

#1 on my list when people ask me where to grab coffee in Birmingham.

Tim also loves people, dogs, and the local community.

Punch Love is the best coffee shop in town, hands down. And it’s all just this one amazing dude (and his lovely fam) running the whole show, slinging some amazing coffee. I’ve been in the service industry for years, and running a busy shop solo like he does all day can be HELL and customers can be unforgiving, but he’s always chatting up customers and chill af.
Great vibes, great coffee. That’s all I need in a coffee shop and, man, does Punch Love deliver.

My favorite coffee shop in birmingham. I come here anytime I’m back home. It is always a priority. Tim is the kindest human ever. He always remembers me and serves amazing coffee. Get his specialty drinks are always so good.

We go to Punchlove on a weekly basis and we always have great conversations that pick right back up from the last week. Such a chill atmosphere and the best coffee you can get in Birmingham. Always highly recommend Punchlove!

This is truly one of the best coffee places in the city the care intention and technical execution that Tim delivers with each and every drink is truly amazing. Also I was here when the 3 ladies that left the reviews above came and left a mess and were really rude stuck used gum onto things then complained and tried to rearrange furniture. Don't listen to them this place rocks.

I love being able to walk to get coffee, and living in Avondale, Punch Love is always my go-to. High-quality and expertly brewed, I have always had a great experience and an even greater latte. With my work schedule, my only critique is I wish hours either opened a few minutes earlier or stayed open later into the afternoon, but c'est la vie.
