The day my husband's father and mother died, all I could ask Mr Drake for was guidance. I did not know where to start. He supported us with guidance every step of the way.

Throughout the entire process the staff were all compassionate, considerate and knowledgeable and walked us through the planning process. Bobby Drake did an excellent job of helping us plan the celebration of life for our Mom. We are very grateful for the excellent service.

When my Pops died on June 30 the funeral director from Connally/Compton got to our house very quickly and handled everything in such a professional manner. I’m a bit biased because both my parents work/worked there but the level of compassion and care is the same for all families. Russell is an amazing Funeral Director and I highly recommend him, but all the staff were amazing during a very hard time. They helped plan right down to the smallest details and went above and beyond anything we expected. The entire staff are helpful and caring and there were no unpleasant surprises along the way. I can’t recommend them enough. They make the hardest time a family can go through so much easier and manageable. We had a cremation and the urn the ashes came back in was exactly what my Pops would have wanted, but I’ve seen them plan some incredible services for other families and they make each situation unique for each family. They’re easy to work with and take each family step by step through a very painful process.

My mother did a pre-need plan with Connally Compton in the 1980s because she did not want me to struggle with her funeral plans when the time came. During the ensuing years, she relocated four hours from Waco. Regardless of time and distance, she made the best possible decision when she chose Connally Compton.
When her end became imminent, I called the funeral home for advisement because I had no idea how to arrange transport for her. Frank Hesbrook told me exactly what to do, answered all my questions, and told me not to worry about anything except spending time with my mother during her final days. He promised to take care of all the details, and he was true to his word.
Frank explained all options and costs in simplistic detail when I met with him to finalize her funeral plans. He did not pressure me in my choices, and he respected each decision I made. During the interval between my mother's passing and her service, Frank called almost daily to see how I was doing and to ask if I had any questions.
I was pleased beyond measure with how my mother looked at visitation. Her makeup and hair seemed natural, and he'd painted her fingernails in her favorite color just as I'd asked. Even my cousin's tween daughter remarked that she looked peaceful, as if she were merely sleeping.
Frank called the day after the funeral to make sure I was OK and to see if there was anything I needed. Little did either of us know that I'd soon be turning to him for help in locating a forty-one year old death certificate for my father, but he didn't hesitate to take care of that matter for me even though his job was essentially finished.
In my experience, Frank Hesbrook and the rest of the staff at Connally Compton have gone above and beyond in providing for my mother and my family.

When our friend passed she already had arrangements to go to Connly/Compton for final arrangements. They were very caring and, in todays times, safe while taking care of us. We were able to see her before we left that initial day. Always very courteous and kept us up-to-date on everything as there was a necessity to work with out-of-state people as well.

My dad being a Connally Compton staff himself would have been proud of how his fellow co-workers/friends treated him and the care they showed. Thank you very much Bobby and Russell

I found Russell Brown to be knowledgeable and helpful. I am the fourth member of my family to use Connally/Compton's pre-planning services. I have found the Waco office to be helpful and sensitive to financial issues.
