Lazy L RV Park

We were traveling through TX and got water in our diesel. Ended up staying at the Lazy L for 8 days while our truck was worked on. Vicki and Pam are such good people. The pool was not open, but it was early May. Got to expirence TX thunderstorms. Used the laundry, and it was nice and clean with good machines. We really appreciate the hospitality and kindness that we received at Lazy L.

Host’s Pam and Vickie were very nice! I saw reviews complaining about construction and difficulty accessing. I drove right to it via Google maps. It’s not their fault the state has the highway messed up but it was easy enough to access via Travis St. detour. (I have a big 36 ft 5th wheel. WiFi was typical of most RV parks. Water pressure was VERY GOOD (which is more important to me than WiFi! Site 1 right next to office was pretty level for gravel. Park was clean and QUIET. Facilities may be a bit older but were clean and nice big showers! Proximity of sewer,water and electric were just right. I found it easy enough to get in and out even with detours. Anything you need is 5-10 minutes away. Big Dollar General backs up to park. 903 Brewery is just a block away! I was there for the Celtic Festival and will stay there again next year. THEY ARE BIG PET PEOPLE and treated my “Little Sister” Sweetie (Miniature Schnauzer) like a family member. NICE CLEAN PARK!! Thank you Vickie and Pam for your gracious hospitality!!!

We checked in, not knowing how long we needed to stay, and Vicky said, "No problem." She was so accommodating.

I stayed there a few years ago doing two railroads bridges in Denison Texas Wild Bill was it good man Vietnam combat helicopter pilot and his son-in-law Larry wonder how they're doing Mike wholesome day

Lazy L is a really great place!
We have been here since January 2016, very clean, respectable, great rates, friendly staff... hats off to Ms Vicky and Ms Pam for all that you do to keep the people happy and comfortable. This is one of our better stays and we travel all over as we work on the road.
We will be happy to stay here again and plan to do so if laid off while waiting for our next job .
We didn't have time to really enjoy the pool but our granddaughter did and she loved it!!
Clean restrooms, showers, laundry room and quiet time...and just fabulous all the way around.
If you have read bad reviews... I would like to suggest that you stay and form your own opinion.

I've been living here for over a year. I love it here! Tho it's right off the highway, it's really pretty quiet! Not too many bright lights. Good location. Facilities are well kept. Management is awesome! Apartments ain't got nothing on living here!

First time staying at an RV park. Had such a great experience!!! The RV park is clean, well laid out, the kids and I enjoyed the pool, and the shower/bathroom amenities were fantastic!! The staff is what put it over the top! Friendly and caring! I will always remember my first RV experience and the Lazy L!! God Bless!

Great location for Sherman with great people to take care of your needs. We do a Bluegrass reunion each November there and they allow us to use the community room for jamming.

This is a nice place. I've been here for over a month now and have had only one issue, the wifi signal is terrible. It's in close proximity to 75, so there is traffic noise, but it's still pretty quiet and the staff is very friendly. There's easy access to alot of restaurants and gas stations and maybe 30-45 minutes from a casino.

This RV Park is awesome! Staff is friendly, park is nice with grass between sights. Pool is clean and shady. Showers are clean and there has been hot water for every shower.

Well kept park just off the highway. While it is obvious that they do have some long-term residents, they have prevented their campers from junking the place up. The lots have a nice base of gravel and rock and even though it was duck weather, we had no trouble getting in and out. We will return.

Friendly, clean, quiet. Level graveled spaces. Full hook-ups in most spaces, including cable. Decent Wifi if you are close to the office. Very cooperative and accomodating staff even on short notice. I have stayed here about 8 times over the last 9 months while traveling for work. The only place I stay in the area. Vert short drive to anything you would need.

We have stayed here many times as we journey to and from Houston and the Tulsa areas. The park is a good basic park that is old but well maintained. There is an RV service center nearby. Above all there are friendly people that manage the facility.

Great park. Friendly staff. Our cable didn't work but wifi did so no biggie. Only bad thing is road construction getting to the park. Not their fault by any means. Just plan for it.

It was amazing love the place. Every one at park r so nice love everything the place. MS.LEE is truly a blessing. I just cant say enough about it. Its so clean pool so clear. Slice of heaven in sherman

Nice RV park. Daily and monthly is available.
Pull through sites with a mix of 30 and 50 amp hookups, all with sewer and water, most with cable. Delightful management.

Overnighted here in a 25’ TT. Easy in/out. Nice host checked us in. Quiet and clean. Good restrooms and laundry. Has clean pool. good area to walk dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

Very personable manager, level sites (and easy to get to), clean and warm bathrooms and showers--good water pressure. Nice places to walk pets. Good price.

TORTUGA GRANDE - 35K BOUNDER - W/TOW DOLLY

We reserved our spot on Lazy L RV Park about 2 days before we got here. I know. We should have called at least 1 month ahead, oh well! My wife and I had peruse a few other RV parks in a 50 mile radius using RV Parky, Google maps and other apps. Even our friends that live in Anna, Texas were sending us postings on the different RV parks. Out of all of those and the ones we saw, Lazy L RV Park is the one for us.
Some of the other places like to put strategically placed photos of their RV park on their website. There are some that don't bother to post any photos because it shows how barren they are. However, I always use google maps to zoom in and observe how the RV park really is. There were some RV Parks demanding photos of our Tortuga Grande - Coach and other items of I.D. Really, out credit card for reservation is not enough? I am glad to give my cash where we are wanted.

My wife called Lazy L RV Park and in a matter of minutes, we had the reservation. We drove in and the lady at the office was super courteous and helpful. She was glad to see us and was very excited to have us stay with them.

We will be here at Lazy L for over a month and then off to California. Since we are full time RVers, we will make Lazy L RV Park as one of our permanent locations to stay when we visit this part of Texas.

TORTUGA GRANDE - FLEETWOOD BOUNDER 35 W/TOW DOLLY

We've been here for almost 3 months. I LOVE it here. The staff is so friendly. The neighbors around us are super nice. Feels like home.
