Mexican Food La Ranchera

If you're ever in Sherman and want authentic Mexican food that is delicious, served in huge portions, great prices and also served with a smile, El Ranchero is the place. My wife had a giant chicken burrito and I had the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. So good! Ask to try the different sauces they have before ordering. We will be back!

Everything in the pictures looks small in portion but then BAM 💥 you got two meals worth total. Anyways the food is delicious! Plus home made corn tortillas, take my money!

This is an amazing authentic Mexican restaurant that serves delicious hot food fast! I would come back here in a heartbeat if I lived closer. The food is inexpensive but tastes like a million bucks. Their sauces are top notch and I can tell the quality of the ingredients and the experience of the cook are top tier. Don't let the outside deter you come on in and enjoy some of the best Mexican cuisine you'll ever have!

Excellent service and restaurant was wonderfully decorated for upcoming Halloween with full of passion and zeal.

Didn't find much on the menu for vegetarian options. They were able to prepare vegetarian items for us. Everything is prepared fresh from order and white it took a bit of time to get them, they are all worth the wait in taste. 😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤

Liked the place for simplicity, down to earth, home cooked style of food.

I usually order delivery from this place but decided to go ahead and walk in to order to go. They are a small business with a few tables. I walked in and there were a couple people already seated, by the time I left with my food(10 min), the place was PACKED. I am obsessed with their gorditas and shrimp tostadas. The quality of food is top notch and reminds me of an elevated home cooked meal. 12/10 would recommend

If you're looking for Mexican homemade food need Sherman this is the place. The only thing that I didn't like at all was their coffee but the food is delicious hands down!! 😋

This place has really good food. I definitely will be going back and eating here again. If you haven't eaten here before I highly recommend trying this place. And the menu's are in Spanish and English Incase you don't know Spanish. Waitress was nice. The hot sauce was a little runny and tasted tomatoy but mixed with their other sauce in the bottles made it really good

This is the real deal! Take a trip into the heart of Mexico without having to go any further than Sherman! Food and service is as friendly and authentic as you can find north of El Paso!

Food and service is always excellent. One of the best places in town to get some authentic and flavorful Mexican food. I highly recommend Tacos Al Pastor.

Great Mexican food! The service was great too. The only issue here, is space. The parking is a little tight, and it is small inside. However, it is definitely worth the minor inconvenience.

Their Fajitas are awesome. I've eaten here a few times and each time it has been great.

Ordered take out and was missing a plate. When they "corrected the order" after having a really bad attitude with me they handed me my box turned completely sideways with my tacos just thrown in there.

This place is really good. The food is super tasty. I had the seafood soup and it was bomb. The street tacos are great and they have really good salsa. I think it's the best Mexican food in the Sher/Den area.

Hands down best Mexican food my wife and I have ever had! Went for 3rd time....still blown away.

First time here, would definitely come again. My husband got the Carne asada meal. Absolutely wonderful, I had a chicken tostada and a steak taco. Everything was amazing. Service was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was kind and professional.

I have driven by this place so many times over the years. Finally tried it. Shame on me. I have been missing out. This food, tacos, are really good. I will for sure be back. You have to give it a chance. Remember the purple building.
