Midway Mall

I really miss how Midway mall used to be 😕. When I was little the mall used to be happy and lively. People were walking around looking in stores, eating in restaurants, and playing games. It was fun and full of happy memories but when the Town center was built the whole mall just shut down becoming abandoned and depressing. But now I heard its being remodeled and I hope it'll looked great in the future!!

What this place still does, it does well. Greatest assortment of massive indoor tropical plants under one roof. May it one day see a resurgence and a full restoration to glory.

I love the spot I cannot wait to turn it around after I renovated

Not from Sherman thankfully. But moved here two years ago and never stepped foot into this mall until now.

Gonna give it 5 stars for the sake of it being a mall and I grew up in the mall shopping era.

It’s pretty sad to see what malls have become.

Not much open any more but Burlington is here alongside jumping land and kids can ride a train around the mall

I love this mall, but it gets more and more depressing.before the pandemic there was quite a few stores left. during the pandemic around last summer we went and most of the stores were temporarily closed. then we went the other day to scope things out, about 4 stores completely closed and there was maybe only 2 stores open with Burlington and Dillard’s . Guess they’re the only thing keeping this place open. Wish they could use it for something special. So sad to see this place die off):

I mean what more can you say, it's dead. But great place to practice driving! Just pay extra attention because all of the stop signs and lines on the parking lot are so faded and since there are a few stores left in this mall there are still people driving or walking around.

Can't wait for the new mall to get finished and get back to the great place it used to be!!

I have many good memories and experiences at Mid-Way Mall. Going to the food court with friends. Watching Titanic or Star Wars Episode 1. Many hours walking and or shopping there. I miss that. It makes me sad that this place is but a memory!

If you enjoy urban exploration and dead malls, check out this mall before it is gone. Anchored by a Burlington on one side, and a Dillard's on the other. The middle is abandoned 80-90's nostalgia. There's already weeds growing in the parking lot and loading docks. I plan to go back when there is not obvious nefarious activity going on in the parking lot. It was fun!

Its fun if you're just wanting to walk/explore. Looks like it hasn't changed sense the 80's and usually there's maybe 1 other person there with you besides the people who work at the stores. Great for photography if you like kinda spooky stuff.

There isn't much left at this mall, which makes it a fascinating archaeological study in American consumerism and the death of the shopping mall. It's almost eerie, and some wings are downright desolate. I love going in here and wandering around, staring at discolored gumballs and empty storefronts, display cases with nothing inside of them, and empty tables in front of non-existent fast food places.

Shopped at Dillard's and Burlington was very nice. Not crowded at all. Very friendly employees.

Despite being a bit run down, I like meandering through enjoying the abandoned, empty feeling. The high airy ceilings, huge tropical plants, and lack of crowds give this mall a very unique peaceful atmosphere.

Only went into the Burlington Coat Factory but I buy almost everything for my kids for back to school. I was able to get stuff for my six year old and my 12 year old. We got a proximately 30 outfits for about $160

I love the mall. Not a hole of stores yet. But it's a great place to go walk and shop. Super nice flower arrangements. And the little train is great too lots of fun

Very big mall. Fun to walk around. Good place to walk. There's not many stores open anymore. Would love to see this mall "re-open- with a variety of shopping places. It would be my favorite mall.

I really miss this mall and really wish it was still flourishing like back when I was a teenager. Its so sad looking now with all the stores closing down. But had a great time at jumpin land with my 2 kids
