Crazy Thai

Absolutely loved this place! Great Thai food that would hold up against any competition in a more cosmopolitan city, friendly and fast service, and nice environment. I was on a week-long road trip and this was by far my best meal. My only critique is that I thought I smelled mothballs (instead of wonderful Thai food when I walked in) and there was a box of them visible in the ladies room. The longer I was in the restaurant the less I noticed the smell, so staff may not realize the issue. Would still come back, hands down!

Never disappointed when we visit! Delicious food, friendly staff and fast service! Love it!! I got the drunken noodles with tofu and my friend got the coconut curry with chicken. Delicious.

Great New Thai place in Sherman. They have done a great job of transforming the old a frame restaurant into a nice dining space, great for date night. The food is very good. We can get Thai food in Sherman now! I recommend the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. The Thai Fried Rice is also very good. Pad Thai is good... But I encourage you to try other things because Thai food is more than just Pad Thai.

Such a very great place to eat at. I am not from Sherman, nor have I tried any Thai food before but the experience I had here was amazing. The wait staff is simply kind and courteous. They food was amazing as well. The spice on the food was remarkable. I dont like food that is too spicy so I got a 1 but my battles do and they got a 2, and 3 for their food, they said they they could taste the spice and it was delicious. We all left the restaurant with a fully belly and an empty plate. If you want great seasoned food please go try this place. Its absolutely amazing. I will eat here again.

Great customer service and experience. I am vegan, and there are a lot of vegan options! I wish they had a vegan soup or vegan salad dressing, but the Bangkok fried rice (no egg, with tofu) was excellent!

I am updating my review to reinforce how amazing this restaurant is. Menu changes have flowed here and there but the food has not dipped in quality at all. Honestly, it tastes better every time I go! One of my favorite restaurants of all time for sure. Still love the pineapple curry 💕

Red Curry and Pad Thai were delicious! The staff definitely went above and beyond for us to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

On my way back to Colonial Hills, I stopped at a random #thai restaurant, the Crazy Thai in #Sherman, #Texas.

Exterior is not impressive, inside is VERY clean. I was extremely impressed with the level of clean, attention to detail. Atmosphere could use a lot of improvement, give it more cozy #Thai feel.

I believe Crazy Thai is a #healthy restaurant. I did NOT taste #MSG, food tasted very slightly bland. Few sprinkles of soy sauce brought out a perfect flavor. 🥰

While I was there, groups of families arrived; eight people, four people, all seemed very happy. 😊

My husband and I love coming to the Crazy Thai for a quick lunch or dinner. The food is great for this area. The service is quick and food is always hot! One of our favorites is the Drunken chicken noodles. Delicious!

The fresh spring rolls and red curry were perfect! Love the music too.

I usually just get the General Tso or Thai Basil Chicken with steamed rice but it always excellent. Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons are Excellent. Spice Levels are nice. And service is always polite and friendly.

First time eating here. Dallas has fantastic Thai restaurants so I wasn't sure what to expect in Sherman but I am pleasantly surprised. Authentic Thai food. Excellent service. Delicious food!

Update: 2nd trip, the level 5 massaman hit the spot!

We had the fried shrimp cakes, massaman curry with chicken (level 4 spicy), and pad Thai with beef (level 1 spicy)

This was the best damn curry I've had in years. I wish I had gotten the spiciness at a level 5. The pad Thai was great as well. The shrimp cakes had a great flavor and crispness.

The service was friendly, food came out quickly, and the price was very fair.

Will definitely be back. Thanks for such a great first visit.

Got the yellow curry, was sooo good. I tasted a few of the other dishes my family got and loved all of them. They were all very strong in flavor so it would be good to pair it with white rice. We're definitely going to be coming back. This place is now in my top 3 restaurants in the Sherman to McKinney area.
Service was also top notch. Oh, and get the Thai tea. Taste like milk boba without the boba.
This place reminded me a lot of Noodle Wave in McKinney, which is also really really good.

the coconut red curry is delicious, they always have something new and interesting on the menu. their is always a very polite and nice crowd inside staff is very quick and enjoyable to be around. neat place! Once again a fav Asian gourmet spot 10/17/23...great Chef here he can really Mix his stuff

Great food! Great service! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Sherman! If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend the Massaman Curry

Great service for me and for the other customers while I was there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Never waited over 10 minutes for my food. I've had the Thai Peanut with chicken off the lunch menu to go. There was plenty of chicken and it was very tender. Lots of vegetables and the rice was perfect. It came with a salad or you can get soup. The Thai Basil is so scrumptious! This restaurant is very clean and a great place to eat. It was delicious!! Great to go or eat in. Very ample servings. I'm always stuffed. I love this place and highly recommend this restaurant! I can't get enough! This pic is of the Thai Basil with chicken. It's also available with beef or seafood.

A hidden gem. The food is excellent and the service amazing. We had the crispy duck and hibachi chicken. Both cooked to perfection. Oh, and the spring rolls for appetizer. We will definitely come back.
