MG's Burgers

The atmosphere here was really unique and the staff was super friendly. The burgers we had were simple yet classic and buns were great. The dessert was also great closer to the meal.
The owner was also walking around and very helpful towards us and our 2 kiddos so that's always a huge plus for us.

Can't believe I had not head of MG Burgers. This place is Fantastic! If you are in the Sherman/Denison area (or will go out of your was for a good burger) this place is a GEM. So grateful I was told about this place by a local while in town.
Everything about the place was great and quite possibly the best burger in Grayson County.

Car enthusiast? This place is for you! MG’s is a Sherman favorite for the Burgers, Onion Rings, and Shakes! The food is consistently good. Mom’s Bakery (owned by the same people) provide the buns for the burgers, so they are always fresh plus they make desserts as well. The Strawberry Cake is Amazing!!
The memorabilia is fun. Your “number” is a trophy with a car on it. The ceiling fans have various hubcaps on them. License plates from almost everywhere, new juke box. The true “50’s” vibe.
They also have a drive through for those people on the go!
I highly recommend this place!!!

This place has 5 stars for a reason. Finally, I tried MG's today and wish I would've eaten here sooner. The burgers and fries are the best I've had in the Sherman area. The patty is thicker than most places and juicy. The buns were very fresh, almost like a roll. The fries were delicious as well. We sat outside because of our dog, and even though I really didn't expect to get waited on, the staff still checked on us and were super friendly. No doubt my go-to burger joint from now on. Cost wise, it was $27.00 for two burgers, an order of fries, and two soft drinks. It was worth it.

The staff was great. Someone would stop by every so often to make sure drinks were full, or to see if we needed anything. Burgers were great, especially the buns. Onion Rings were awesome. We are not local to Sherman, TX, but when back visiting we will certainly stop here for a meal. Thank you to the great staff!

This place is off the highway in Sherman and is always a favorite lunch needed when visiting.
We've been coming since the kids were little, and nothing has changed other than the location.
Still an awesome burger joint with all the fixings.
Recommend the Cadillac Burger with Orings and a root beer!

Wow!!!!! We went to MG'S today for the first time. I dont know where to start. What a hidden gem, unsure how we never have been to this restaurant. The restaurant is like a time machine back to when days were simpler. The establishment is very clean and kept up with. The staff were very nice and made sure all our needs were taken care of. The food was extremely good and had plenty of flavor to it.

We ordered The Limousin burger,The Buick burger, The Dodge, and the kids wanted the kids' meal, which was a hot dog, and the other had chicken strips. We also had onion rings and French fries, which were very good. The only thing that was off was the chicken strips, which were overcooked and dry. I have eaten at hundreds of hamburger places in Texas, and I can say MG's is in the top five by far.

Thank you for such a great time and awesome burgers. We will be back again soon.

Today was my first visit to MG's Burgers which I found while looking up burger joints in the area. I ordered the Fried Zucchini to start and it was very good with the zucchini nice and soft with the light and crispy batter on the outside. I got the Hot Rod Ford burger which was also very good. The sauce wasn't as hot as I was expecting, which for me was enjoyable. The burger was hot and juicy, and the ingredients all complimented the other with the beef, bacon, sauce, and condiments.

My favorite experience of MG's was the customer service. The staff conducted themselves professionally and with excellence. From the time I arrived, to checking on me, to getting me a Togo box and drink, I was very impressed and applaud the service I received.

The atmosphere is very nice with the building appearing to have been a mechanic shop and gas station during its history. Felt I stepped back in time seeing the old school coke machine and memorabilia on the wall.

I will absolutely be back during future visits to Sherman and look forward to trying these items again, with trying other menu items as well.

The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Small restaurant is reminiscent of an older time with the classic cars and decor and music to match. It was an excellent departure from the normal burger place with good food, car themed menu, and excellent service. The fried pickles were excellent and better than I've had in a while from other establishments.

I really love this place as it is the only Mg’s in the world. I have been coming here everyday for the past two years. Most all workers are very nice and kind. There is also free waters, which I have been getting for the past two years. I thank all Mg’s workers for the kindness that they have shown over 2 years. Since I am moving I wanted to share my experience with Mg’s burgers. I love the car theme and the car brand burgers like Cadillac and Chevy. I like to sit outside while eating cause they have shade and it feels good.

I just had oral surgery and had my four front teeth pulled out. They were very great at offering food options that I could eat that wouldn't hurt my mouth. I had their taco soup and it was truly the best I've ate in a long time. Then the strawberry cake and oreo cake were moist and flavorful.

Great burgers! Homemade onion rings. Friendly staff. A local favorite.

I’m not kidding, probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The place is all 50’s deco, clean, and great service. It’s not a hype, we rode 2 hrs to visit this place specifically, and it was worth it. Delicious!!

Fun Mom & Pop with decent portions. The orders are made from scratch. Due to this it does take some time for the order to come out. The place has a lot of fun gas station and garage memorabilia. Another fun spot in Sherman, TX.

First time to MG’s Burger. One of the best burgers I have in Dallas so far. I like their burger menu with Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Cadillac, etc… And the Ford burger with BbQ sauce and fries are fantastic.

The aesthetic of the place is super cool to be in. It appears as if it was once an auto shop that was turned into a burger joint. The menu falls into the auto theme, naming almost every menu item after a car brand, which is very clever and fun. The food itself is great in its own right, offering many different burger options. The staff here are very friendly.

Oh man, I am not usually a speed eater, but I wolfed down my burger before I knew it! Super flavorful, soft, perfect bun, fries and onion rings were great! Amazing customer service and ambient, truly. My kids and I enjoyed a memorable first visit to the "new" MGs location. I hadn't even since they were at the old venue and I was still in college. We will definitely be back and took a few pieces of cake for the road! Worth the visit!!!

The food was fabulous; the service was wonderful and the the place was just as cute as can be with great music. You can tell the "locals" eat there because the servers knew almost all of their customers 💕😎 Just a happy place to have lunch 💯. Plus, Gluten Free options 💕

New Location but omg the burgers are still delicious! Love the freshness of the burger. Fresh bread and fresh ingredients. Love the fries and onion rings :). Highly recommend burgers
