I almost don’t even know where to begin. Derek Smith, Chaz, and the Waldo staff made my Brothers memorial absolutely AMAZING!!! It was more than we even expected. The loss of my brother was heart breaking and came with unique circumstances. Never once did Derek make us feel like our requests were a bother. He ensured the Military tribute was in line and he choose the most perfect Pastor, Rev. Brian Taylor to speak. Just as I said, everything was
perfect. The caring ways we were treated It felt like we had been friends for years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My sisters and I chose Mr. Smith and Waldo funeral home for our father, last week. I've been to many funerals, but never on the frontline of planning and being responsible for it. There was a little chaos in the beginning about the removal of my father's body, not on their account, but on mine and they made me feel comfortable through it all. I can be overbearing and a nervous/worried person, but Mr Smith did everything to alleviate those feelings for me. He held our hands through every step and anwered the phone sometimes multiple times a day and never made me feel like a burden. Keri, in the front office was also a lifesaver for me. I sent her so many emails, and I felt the need to apologize, but everytime she let me know that it's okay and that she wasn't bothered at all. The service for my father was beautiful and everything flowed nicely. After the funeral, I was able to rest knowing everything worked out better than I could have ever imagined. I am forever grateful for Mr. Smith and Waldo Funeral Home. 10/10 recommend.

The highest compliment I could give is that my mom would have been so pleased! Billy and staff did an incredible job. He took care of every detail and kept us all fully informed of every step of the process. He seemed to be available for us 24/7 and always with a reassuring smile. There aren't enough stars on this review to indicate exactly how much I recommend Billy and Waldo Funeral Home.

The funeral was perfect. They did exactly what we asked for. They are very kind to work with, and very thorough. They make everything so much easier for the family. My Father in-law was very handsome. He looked 10 years younger, and so at peace. Everything was beautiful. This is the second time we have used them. My sweet daddy passed away this last week and Waldo Funeral home took care of us like FAMILY. The entire staff was professional, compassionate and extremely thoughtful. While this is a very stressful time for anyone, never once did we feel any pressure while making difficult decisions. I would like to express special thanks to Billy Keene for making me and my mother feel comforted, safe and secure during this process.

I highly recommend using Waldo Funeral Home. we used them when my dad passed away 12 years ago and never thought i would be saying this so soon, but unfortunately my youngest brother passed away recently and we used them again. Everyone was so caring and professional. A big thank you to Chad, he was very understanding and compassionate though everything and i felt so relieved to know that my brother was in good hands and everything went so smoothly for my family and I. We just can’t say how thankful we are, and we really appreciate everything they did for us during this very difficult time. Every staff member we came across was very respectful and caring, and at the viewing there was this one gentleman (staff member) that happened to walk by and noticed that the casket sheet was slanted due to us prior leaning over the casket and he quickly came in and fixed it to make it look nice, which was thoughtful of him to do that. Never once did I feel like they were pushy in anyway, they just went above and beyond. The family night chapel was so special and roomy. Thank you so much for the wonderful service.

Waldo's Funeral Home has been the Funeral Home my family has used for as long as I can remember. The Staff has always gone over and beyond to insure that we received the best service that we could ever ask for. Throughout all these years I have come to think of all the staff as both family and friends. I always enjoy just stopping by to just say hello. They are always so welcoming.
Just last week, we lost our son. As always Waldo's out did themselves again. Tending to every detail to make sure everything was taken care of. And so comforting to my family in this time of need.

We were delighted that our friends and family had the choice to not wear a mask. Our motto was "mask not required hugging was." Everyone my Mom and I interacted with was TOP NOTCH....incredibly compassionate, highly professional, flexible (there was a hiccup with the photos for the slide show & they were quick to get a beautiful tribute mini slide show together LAST minute!) and were overall sooooooo wonderful!!!

With all their attention to detail they made saying goodbye my sweet (step) Dad the only focus!

Years ago my father worked with Waldo FH to pre-plan and pre-pay his funeral. I'm grateful to him and to Waldo FH for this. Joel and Chad were especially helpful with finding a pastor, the flowers and even the obit. With masks and social distancing we honored the life of my father and I could not have been more pleased .

I would really like to thank Waldo funeral home for helping me through many difficult times Growing up in Grayson county my family always used Waldo funeral home.My grandparents all my aunts and uncles, Then my Daddy. Now I am older and I have had to experience planning arrangements myself unfortunately.. first. My brother in law was killed in a car accident last year in June, and that's when I met Derick Smith, I called crying, He was so kind and understanding, helping me every step of the way, Most recently we lost my sister in law, and no question about it, I called Derick. Once again, He helped me arrange everything with the kind sweet heart that he has. Nobody wants to ever call a funeral home But it's something none of us can escape from. My mother recently passed and her services were held at Waldo funeral home Hands down I could not have done it without Billy Keene and the staff up there. From the service to the family center all of our expectations was to the upmost perfection

Went to a service at this location on Thursday billy Keene was amazing!! This service was beautiful and the staff all around was wonderful! They went above and beyond for this family whom I know are very grateful. Will most Definitely be using waldos if I ever need them! Thank you for a beautiful experience.
