this is hands down the best place in Clifton to get breakfast or lunch!!! food is always fresh and delicious, the daily specials are always unique and tasty, the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, and it has the coziest atmosphere ever; the true embodiment of what a restaurant should be, good people and good food. i cannot recommend this place enough, whether you’re a local or just passing through, you gotta stop in and try it!

Had the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich and soup of the day which was an out of this world creamy carrot. I'm stufted. Topped it off with the flakiest cherry danish! Everyone made you feel like they've known you forever. So many delicious choices. I can't wait to come back - the old fashioned soda fountain is a must try next time! Five is not enough stars!

This place is so stink’n cute! The young lady who welcomed us was so help in picking out yummy baked goods. Our lattes and breakfast were delicious! A most if you are near Clifton, TX.

Great place for lunch and/or just a sweet. Pastry counter always filled with delicious desserts and you can’t beat the milkshakes! Stop by once a month to or from Gatesville and really enjoy the atmosphere. Decor is very fitting and inviting!

we love eating here. the food is always good and great coffee. nice service and did not have to wait very long.

Breakfast was AMAZING! The coffee cake muffin was melt in your mouth amazing. The charcuterie board was delicious especially the honey. The pecan coffee was perfect with everything. I loved the decor as well.

Great food and service! Lots of great memories sitting at the soda fountain bar sipping homemade milkshakes as a youngster. Now I can do it again as an oldster!

This is a sweet spot in Clifton! Serving up historic ice cream sundaes reminiscent of a bygone day, sandwiches, and bakery treats that catch the eye and make everything move over for more!!! Mmmm. A great stop in the fun little downtown after browsing and shopping.

Wonderful chicken pesto sandwich. My husband loved his chicken salad. Ample portions.

Neat place and style on the corner. All the food plates looked so good and the desserts even better! Was perfect to sit right outside and enjoy the small downtown views. Great spot with really nice and thoughtful staff. Will have to drive back through and visit again.

Every time we visit, we have a great experience here. The menu options are great, the food is always delicious - the on- premises fresh baked muffins and pasties are exceptional - and Phyllis and her staff are so friendly. It shouldn't surprise me, but always makes me smile to see the steady stream of happy / pleasant customers come to this beautifully restored establishment. If you are looking for a genuine local Central Texas breakfast/lunch experience in a non- hurried atmosphere, come here.

This is the coolest place to eat at! The food is awesome and we love the atmosphere! You definitely need to stop by if you're in town. I had the king ranch chicken and my such had a chicken panini with pesto and she couldn't stop talking about how great it was!

We have been here a few times and the food, service, and atmosphere was wonderful! It’s Christmas Eve today and my wife and I were talking about driving out to Clifton again today for breakfast but I looked it up to see if they were open but they are closed until Tuesday. GOOD FOR THEM!!!! I love seeing businesses close for the holidays. That says you value your people and their families over your own financial gain! I have no doubt they would have packed this place if they were open. I’m even more impressed now!

If you haven't tried the corner cafe, you should. Good food , service, friendly patrons. Close to unique shopping including a bookstore.

Sandwiches, home cooked food, table service, friendly staff, very clean

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very friendly and bright. The food is off the charts amazing. I love coming here. I try to go at least once a week because I love it so much. I recommend getting the try 3 so you can try a half sandwich, half salad, and small soup. They have to die for deserts, if you stop in you have to try the brownie bottom sundae with in house made brownies!!! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. 5 stars for sure, wish I could give more. 🤩
