El Potrillo

This is a wonderful new restaurant in Lexington. We ordered the combo Fajitas with chorizo and carnitas for 1 and shared it and we still took home leftovers. The meat is seasoned so nicely. I love their nice thin torillia chips and queso is just melted cheese. Salsa is kinda think but still good. The margaritas are a deal. A regular is 4.99 and is still a nice size. We should have gotten the pitcher for $24 tho cuz they were good. Service was good and everything was hot and tasty. I highly recommend you try this restaurant out. Staff is really nice!!!

Easily the best Mexican brick and mortar in Lexington. Not even close... I had the fajita quesadilla with steak and it was delicious! The chips are thin and crispy and the salsa is fresh.. . Beans have a little kick to them as well.. just great food at a great price...

In my 45 years of eating Mexican food, until today it all tasted the same. But this! Best I’ve had! The salsa is unlike any other I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend!!

The food was great. We were seated pretty quickly for a group. My only complaint is we hardly got refills on drinks unless we asked. Everything else was good and this place is fairly inexpensive.

We were visiting a friend and had dinner here one night. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. The only weird part was the hostess muttering about her boss being "delusional". Very unprofessional.

The food here is amazing, and you could not ask for better portion sizes! The staff are very kind and attentive! The salsa could use a little more heat to eat, but still has a very good flavor! This place is awesome, and you should RUN to TRY it!

Great atmosphere! There hasn’t been anything we’ve tried we didn’t truly enjoy. The Tacos! I choose “make your combo plate,” in the Chile Reanos are to die for. Chicken fajita , shrimp fajita rice bowls are great too. Everyone should eat there at least once, it will be a fiesta in your mouth.

Food was really good and plentiful. We first tried them in Saltillo and we were immediately impressed. Lexington's location did not disappoint. And this is a good family. Always love talking to Pillo. They focus on quality.

Everytime I’ve came here it’s always been a positive atmosphere, great food and amazing service. I typically get the quesadilla marij, various burritos and the tradition special dinner. For dessert I’ve had xanigo as well as the lava cake. Perfect textures and flavors. If I could give it a 10/10 I would!

El Portrillo has became a weekly staple for me and my co-workers. Pillo is awesome. Louis (the waiter) is outstanding. They DO get busy and the wait may be a little longer than some would like but, that just means it's a good place to eat. 10 🌟!!

I went with a large party the food was excellent and the service was top notch! We left very satisfied with the experience.

My wife and I had the steak tacos. Carne asada or something. Delicious. Loved the big onions. Great service. Nice place. Really good thin chips

My son and I visited this restaurant on the 1st day that it opened and they were exceptional. They did an excellent job on remodeling the building and making it seem like a Mexican atmosphere. The whole wait staff were very diligent about taking care of every table and the employees were extra friendly. The food was prepared without a long wait and it was very good. I really enjoyed the salsa, seemed to have a lil pineapple flavor, and I enjoy pineapple. I ordered an enchilada plate that contained a bean, beef, cheese, & chicken enchilada and it was great. My son had a shrimp plate on a bed of rice and it was presented with a neat fashion and he said it was as tasty as it looked. The parking lot was almost full and people were just hearing that it was open, the parking will be tight as everyone learns that they are serving, so go on the off times if possible to get a parking spot in their lot. We will be returning very soon, it is a good place to eat!

The food is always delicious! I haven't had a single thing that I didn't enjoy. The chips are thin and fresh and all the food is well seasoned.

This place was amazing! Service was fast, and our server was friendly and on top of his game! Me and my 2 kids shared the double order of shrimp fajitas, they were a hit. We will definitely be back

We went here for the first time a week ago…it’s our new go-to place!! Great food, great service, great people…We met Jose one night and Arturo another night…We already feel like family!! Thanks guys…See you again soon!! 5 STARS!!!
