JD's BBQ Barn

There aren't many foods that I'm a tough critic on BUT I do have high expectations when it comes to BBQ. That being said.. JD'S EXCEEDED them all! The business itself is basically the poster child for a "hole in the wall" restaurant. By that I'm saying if you sneeze at the wrong time then you're driving right past it & will miss out on what I consider the best BBQ in the area by a long shot. I've been loyal to my other BBQ joints for years but JD's is offically my go to for my BBQ needs. I've recommended them to many others & they have all been pleased as well so stop wasting time trying to decide where to go & head on to JD's. You can thank me later!

Wonderful little pit stop if you're passing through don't miss it especially if you're hungry. You won't regret it! Family owned and operated and it's a little jewel in the middle of nowhere. Just enough room to park get your food and go. There's also a convenience store right next door.
It's on the hilltop so use extra caution when pulling out of the location. A lot of dump trucks and semi tractor trailers travel through that area especially during business hours Monday through Friday.

Best BBQ in the area....! Always delicious....the sides are terrific as well. Great beans, great slaw...the sauce is really good too....in a land of lots of good BBQ places, this is a standout!!

Love JD’s Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Get a big ‘un with slaw and both hot and sweet sauces. Good stuff! You can thank me later. JD is a great guy too!

The best BBQ in Tennessee. Definitely a must-try!! Fast friendly service cheap prices with great quality BBQ and chicken. Definitely the best in the midsouth.

Travelled down from Nashville for some authentic South Tennessee barbecue. Restaurant is an awesome hole-in-the-wall with killer pork. Staff was knowledgable and friendly and we grabbed a couple of bottles of sauce to save. Don't miss J D's!!

I HIGHLY recommend the Piggy Pie! Jeff's got the BEST BBQ I've ever eaten, and I've had BBQ from CA to TN. I visit JD's often and won't go anywhere else!

I eat a lot of BBQ all over the country and I've told a lot of people that JD's is a hidden gem.

Stopped in last spring (2012) and had a pulled pork sandwich which is the best I ever had. Do not get down there very much,but when I do I make a point to stop in.
