Someone ran into my 1971 VW Beetle in August 2017. The fender and bumper were destroyed. I contacted EVERY shop in the triangle, and most of them (all except 3) were afraid to even touch it because of its age. I'm so glad I went to Carolina Auto Body Center. At first, I was concerned that the paint wouldn't be exact. I didn't know the color code because the previous owner repainted it a non-stock shade of blue. But when I saw it for the first time after repairs, I was speechless. They color matched and blended perfectly, even the metal flake was exact. I still think about it every day. Paul is a lifesaver! If you need any body work done on your car, it's worth the drive. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Extremely pleased with Carolina Auto Body Center. Before taking in my auto for repair I read the reviews. Well the 5 star reviews are spot on. Paul, the owner could not have been more helpful. The place is a bit out of the way but well worth the trip. The price was very reasonable. I originally asked the Toyota dealership about the price to repair the damaged area. They indicated that they would have to replace an entire section of my car. Carolina Auto was able to just repair the damaged area. It was an amazing job. Could not have picked a better place to take our business. Thanks again to Paul for a job well done in a timely manner.

Fantastic service at reasonable prices. I highly recommend making the drive out to this Auto Body shop. Paul and his team will take good care of you, whether you are using insurance or cash. Paul has repaired two of my cars (one of them twice after a hit & run) and always delivers quality work.

I had front-end damage not covered by insurance on my Nissan Pathfinder so price was important; still had to have quality work as well. I obtained 3 estimates and Carolina AB was by far the lowest. I don't always go with the cheapest price, that can be a trap. Since Carolina came recommended by another shop I use, I gave them the work. Easy Peasy as they say. Pleasant experience. I cannot say enough about them. They are a bit off the beaten path location wise but don't let that fool you. Use 'em.

He was so nice throughout this whole process and was very helpful. I will return for future work! Such an amazing job and I’m one happy girl! I wish i could add photos because It’s something to be seen! Thanks again!

They did a great job of repairing collision damage on my Honda Pilot. Very pleased with the results.

Three and a half years later they repaired the damage from a second fender bender (neither accident our fault) with the same excellent results. Thanks Paul.

I highly recommend Carolina Autobody. Paul Duncan was very fair with me. I did not have comprehensive insurance. Paul did everything he could to keep the cost down.

When it was done my 2116 car looked new again.

Good from afar, but far from good.
$40K down the drain. Everything that was done to the vehicle will have to be re-done. I was told 6 months to complete and I ended up pulling the plug on the project after a year, thousands of dollars over budget. From a project perspective, they failed in regards to Time, Scope, Quality and Budget. Work performed will all need to be redone.
I wanted all of the rust removed and replaced with metal. I did get some metal replaced, but got body filler/Bondo in other places. There are places on the vehicle where a magnet will not stick.
Paint/ finish: It’s an honest 30-footer. Runs, overspray, dirt in the paint and visible holes where they don’t belong. large panel gaps and bad panel edges. gives the gap where two panels meet a puckered look from the panels not being prepared correctly. IE bad body work. If metal is prepared correctly, body filler is to be used only in a minimalist fashion.
Bodywork: Again, body panels have a pillowy cartoon effect. Panels will have to be stripped down to bare metal to find the correct body lines and correct panel gaps. METAL, repair panels will need to be used, resealed, primed and painted. The mechanical work that was attempted will need to be re-done as repairs were not completed. Not sure yet if the repair panels that were used will need to be removed and re-done to correct panel fitment. Ex. Rocker panels.
I drove it into the shop and had to haul it out by trailer. License plate on the vehicle was “lost” also and needed to be replaced.
The tailgate is bowed and bent. I requested that it be replaced. They defied my request as the customer and painted the bowed and bent tailgate and then was then advised that it looked “good enough” for the owner and that I as the customer did not know what I was talking about and what a “good deal” I got. I am fascinated by his actions. I gave the vehicle the magnet test in front of him and he insisted that the panel was metal even though you could clearly see that the magnet did not stick. The patch panel for this section is $28. That is just one of many situations where my requests as the paying customer were denied and/or ignored. I asked them not to work on the grill as I will be replacing it anyway. They went ahead and attempted to paint it. It is the incorrect color and again, has a cheap, cartoon look to it, but I get to pay for it anyway, instead of focusing on actual repair. With all of these blatant, clearly visible defects, I cannot assume that the prep work for the paint was done correctly. Again, just one more reason why the vehicle will need to return to bare metal, metal repair completed and redone by a qualified facility with professional business practices and the knowledge skills and abilities to correctly repair a vehicle. A warranty is useless if the business does not have the ethics to achieve customer satisfaction let alone adhere to any claims made about working with the customer on their website.

I took my car here after an accident. I gave the owner in the trailer office the work order from my insurance company, which he accepted. Four days later I went to pick up my car. Bottom line is that the guy in the trailer refused to do all the work listed on the work order and then wanted me to pay the full amount of money stated on the work order. He even wanted paid for the work he refused to do. Within a year their paint job began to peel off my car. Carolina auto body shop has a lifetime warranty on their work but after being ripped off the first time by the guy in the trailer, I wasn't going back to be ripped off again. The guy would have said that the re-paint work was covered under his warranty and then he would have handed me a $1000 bill for doing the warranty work and expect me to pay. My advice is, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.
