Shivers Creek Catfish House (Simpson County Location)

My family and I ate here for the first time the other day. I love the fact that greens, hush puppies, and coleslaw are brought out for the entire table. I really enjoyed the catfish and all the fixings.

I look forward to eating here again in the future.

My family and I ate dinner at Shivers in December 2023–we brought our baby with us and were thrilled to get pictures with Santa too! We had a phenomenal experience—the food was fresh and delicious (we loved the complimentary hush puppies and greens in addition to our chicken tenders, fried catfish, fried shrimp, oyster poboy, fries, baked potato, sweet potato)…and although she was busy, our waitress, Ashley V, was attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, quick, and friendly…and my father-in-law also enjoyed browsing the local memorabilia on the walls. We were all so full, but the desserts looked amazing too! We even grabbed coloring sheets on the way out for us to enjoy at home! :)

Shivers is a hidden gem—you can’t go wrong with anything your order!! Some of the best southern seafood we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back soon!

I've been to Easons more times than I can count and came back to the county for a visit and my friends took me to this fish house. They served a very good meal for a fair price and I hope that they continue to succeed.

It was our first time going and it was a good experience. We are planning a trip back when I'm in town again.

Every one was super friendly. The waitress was very attentive to the needs of everyone of our table. The
food was delicious and the portion sizes were more than ample. We had to drive a long ways to get there from where we live and it was totally worth it. I would do it again. In fact l am looking forward to returning.

Our first time dining, definitely won’t be our last time. Nice friendly environment the manager is very courteous and our server Ms Rene was awesome.

Delicious fried catfish filets with a sweet potato, crispy hush puppies, wonderful coleslaw, and divine turnip greens! The sweet tea was so refreshing!!! Amazingly friendly staff. We were welcomed from the time we entered until the time we left! We will definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely love this place!!! The best people food and atmosphere! I highly recommend! My husband and I had the seafood platter and we had plenty enough for lunch and supper! Please go give them your business! Thank y’all for the service!

Wonderful dining experience! We were seated right away, the waiter was very attentive to our needs. Best catfish, hushpuppies and turnip greens I've had in a while! We definitely will be back!

We love Shivers Fish House, both in Shivers as well as the location in Crystal Springs!! Warm and inviting atmosphere!

We had the catfish and potatoes. You get greens and slaw when you sit down. The staff was friendly and kept a check on the table.

This is our favorite place to eat. The fish and slaw are our favorite. If something is not like you wanted they are quick to fix it. This is a great place to eat ! When my kids come up from Louisiana that is where they want to eat.

We love coming to shivers! Great service, food and of course everyone always treats us like family!
