A fantastic stop for any woman that likes good taste and is a soul sister. There is eye.candy for days in this place. If you dig old salon chairs and vintage gas pumps that are not only decor but are for sale as well. The only thing not for sale is that beautiful one-of-a-kind rug that you will see you when you come in just, just wait, she won’t sell it. With so many diverse pieces of furniture and your ability to make any kind of T-shirt you want makes it’s a must stop for anybody headed north or south on hwy 49. While you’re in the shop your husband can either wash the car at the Rainforest Car Wash or walk 49 steps to one of the most sought after burger places in the State of Mississippi which is Zip’s. Also there is a Sears across from Zip’s and check out all the tools and cool men’s toys or size up a Samsung $4000 fridge, Your husband can ponder working on completing his JDM/LS/Jeep Project with Craftsman Tools made in the U.S.A. Lifetime tools that you can pass down from generation to generation. Either way when you’re taking a break from driving and you like flea markets and you guys want to chat with some good people |then this a great stop and there’s a Dairy Queen across hwy 49 as well. Exxon is your gas station that’s closest next to Dollar General. Every store mentioned above is on the left side of Highway 49 if your headed South, the only thing on the right side of Highway 49 is Dairy Queen. However, I Do Not recommend walking across Highway 49 in search of a Blizzard.. Do Not Break the Law.there are some of the best Officers of the Law in the business. Camp Shelby near by and around Hattiesburg which means you and your family can rest easy, God Bless

I reviewed this place before thinking I was reviewing Angela's, so I'm editing. I've never been in Mississippi Hippie but I'm sure its fabulous and just my style!

Mississippi Hippie sells clothing that is not sized properly. I have no trouble wearing L and XL blouses usually but here, they are not fit to wear at all. I wouldn't trust their sizes if you are over a Small/Medium size. Also there are no refunds here.
