Beautiful home rich in history. It is the oldest standing home in Jones County. If you come to Ellisville, ride by and you may see the Ghost of Amos McLemore allegedly killed by Newt Knight Oct 5th, 1863. On special occasions, the home is open for touring and I'm told the floor is still stained with General McLemore's blood! Also, if you are interested in the history of Ellisville, I have done a great deal of research including the "Old town of Ellisville" which is East of the rail road track.
