Hampton Inn & Suites Clayton/St. Louis-Galleria Area

Diamond members here, we had two suites for three nights. Staff was very friendly and made adding another night last-minute easy by keeping us in the same room and delivering our new keys to us while we ate breakfast. Quiet and even though the hotel was sold out it didn’t feel crowded, we never had to wait in line for a thing. Thanks!

This Hampton Inn in Clayton was excellent. Staff was always available. Room was very clean. The hotel has an underground garage connected to it that is available for guests only. The location was charming on a nice quiet street but only a few blocks from Maryland Ave where there were cafes/restaurants and a convenience store. Residential neighborhoods a couple of blocks away with gorgeous homes made for nice walks. All in all a great relaxing stay for us.

I was here for a training for work and we were in the conference room which was lovely. They provided us with food including grilled chicken, cheese, tortellini, salad, some sort of mostaccioli dish. The food was excellent!

There is a garage attached, but it said that I needed to pay to park so I just parked on the street right out front which wasn't a problem. I came in the evening, so parking was free on the street but depending on the day/ time of day you may have to actually pay to park on the street.

Generally speaking, if I am staying in a hotel and paying hundreds of dollars to stay there, I like to expect that parking is free, but I know that not all businesses operate on that same model.

I live in St. Louis, so I probably wouldn't stay here since I have a place.

This Hampton inn definitely by far is one of the best! The rooms are clean. The staff is amazing. The bar staffed by Susan and Mark. They are the best! Have never ran into an unfriendly employee here. The breakfast is hot and is good. You can tell they take pride in their work and their hotel. DoubleTree at Westport could learn a few things from this hotel! Hampton inn Clayton definitely can fly the Hilton flag proudly

I’ve never been treated with such kindness and respect, and just the upmost care as we’ve been treated at this hotel. We are here for a memorial and also my mother‘s birthday happened to fall during this time and the care and love that has been shown is wild and wonderful! And you guys don’t even KNOW us! What an incredible testament you guys are to what it’s truly like to see humans and be humans!

We recently booked a room last minute to attend a family funeral. The customer service was terrific. Our (adult) children were able to join us last minute and their Patricia went above and beyond to accommodate us. Each staff member we encountered was kind and friendly. They even allowed us to use their breakfast lounge to have food brought in for (20) family, friends and out of town guests. The rooms were spotless. The location was perfect with restaurants, a grocery store and shops within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again and will look for a Hampton Inn in other cities we travel to.

Jamie working the late night shift is an absolute gem and gave the best customer service I have ever received. I’m pretty sure she even came up to my room at around 3:30am and knocked on my door as she knew I had missed the taxi she scheduled for me. I heard the knocks and still made my flight!!! She is the best ever and great experience for the 3nights I stayed there

Great hotel for a quick stay, especially if you have activities at Wash U. The location is great because it’s on a fairly quiet street and it’s easy to walk to a lot of restaurants nearby and even a fancy grocery store. It’s clean, the service is great, and there’s plenty of parking. The gym here is also better than most hotels, especially for one that’s on the smaller side. The breakfast is a little lackluster but it has everything you need. Another small but nice thing is that they emailed the receipt to me the morning of checkout so that I didn’t have to go get it at the front desk or ever question the total—nice touch. I will stay here again.

Nicely appointed hotel with a helpful staff. Clean rooms. Would like a make-up mirror in the bathroom . Nice soap and lotion! Vert comfortable bed and pillows.

Great experience, everything was top notch. Bar, gym, breakfast, staff, rooms, all great. Area was decent.

Great location for our needs. Nice clean property. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Devin at the front desk is fantastic, he took the time to discuss things to do & visit in the area and restaurants to try. Really appreciated his enthusiasm.

Very clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Complimentary breakfast offered a variety and spending time chatting with the bartender, Devin, at the hotel bar is a great way to end the night.

This is a superb Hampton! It is in a beautiful part of town, the hotel was immaculate and well kept. I really enjoyed the hospitality and attentiveness. The hidden gem was the onsite bar, Danielle's, they also served light fare, rare for a Hampton! Devin and Jill kept the bar rolling and were great! Christa G at the front desk was also superb and a great conversationalist. All questions were handled and by far one of the best experiences I've had recently. This hotel will be my new stopping point moving forward!

Staff were great and friendly. They sent a crib and food we had ordered to our room before we arrived.
We got a room facing East on the 5th floor, and were able to see the sun rise through the Arch in the distance.
The pool was all ours and well kept, and the gym was small but had a range of equipment.

Absolutely one of my favorite Hampton Inn locations. The design of the hotel is distinctive and fits the neighborhood well. It is always immaculate and the staff is always courteous. They also have a really nice area to sit adjacent to the hotel but still in the property where you can enjoy a drink or just watch the people go by. Very close to highway exits. It is also withing a five minutes drive of the Galleria Mall. Very nice.

Only thing I would change is all rooms don't have a microwave. Only certain rooms have one. So you may find yourself going downstairs to the lobby to reheat food. Rooms do have a small fridge.

One of our favorite hotels!! Location is the best, safe to walk even at night! Very clean and comfy and the staff are amazing! Even the complimentary breakfast was delish!! Only place we'll stay in St. Louis!!

Family weekend away. Hotel wasn't busy at all so my family and I was able to fully take advantage of all amenities. Nice, clean, quiet location. We'll definitely be back!

I traveled for work and was pleasantly greeted with a beautiful room that was clean and well appointed. I loved the ease of parking and location to restaurants- all walking distance, including my office during the stay. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. I had just what I needed and will definitely be making this my home base when I travel for work again.

My top choice for lodging when visiting downtown Clayton. The service is consistently good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is walking distance to downtown Clayton and the Metrolink.
