Doc's Riverside Grille

This was our second time coming here and our experience was equally as good as the first time. We had an early lunch shortly after opening and all of the girls inside were super friendly and our waitress was fantastic. We started with the Bo Bo Shrimp and they were huge, fresh and deeeelicious.

I had the Reuben and I think it might be the best one I've ever had in my life!! We also had the fried cod sandwich which was also incredible. We will be back for sure! Thanks for another great experience!

My husband, mom, sister and I went to Doc's for lunch four days straight while my dad was in compass hospice. Not only was the food to die for, but the staff was beyond phenomenal. We all tried different food, appetizers and desserts each day and everything we tasted was mouth watering goodness. The staff became like family, each caring and compassionate with our situation. After my dad passed we went back to have one last meal, and it was bittersweet knowing we wouldn't be back the next day. Next time we are in Maryland we will be sure to come back by for a visit and great food. Many thanks to Susan, Susie, Susie 2, and Angie for truly being the bright light during our darkest time.

I came here to celebrate my nephews birthday with family. We had a late lunch and got to enjoy the views of the river as the sun set. Our server was attentive and very sweet. The staff made sure we were well taken care of and my nephew especially enjoyed his birthday. The food was really good. Great food quality and taste. I will note that we did order spinach and crab dip that tasted more like a crab bisque than dip and had very little spinach but it still tasted pretty good. Everything else was great. Will definitely return.

The hostess and waitresses were so nice and friendly! The food was good and affordable and the potions were HUUUUGE. We got the stuffed avocado salad with shrimp and the chicken tacos and sat outside in the cute outdoor area. The inside is HUGE and clean, the bathrooms were spotless. This place was a stop on our road trip and I’m glad we checked it out!

Great hidden jem out "in the sticks". Awesome menu, huge portions and a great bar. Service is friendly and attentive. Whether it's lunch, dinner, or just day drinking, this is a wonderful spot to grab some delicious food and libations.

Good food with a wide selection of meat and seafood on the menu. Nice atmosphere and excellent service.

I've been going there for years and have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Visited there on a rainy Saturday for lunch. Sat in the dining area, which doesn't have as much atmosphere as the bar area, but the bar area was too noisy for my companions. Parking can be a bit of a problem, but not then. We each had something different, but we were all very happy. The chicken and mushroom quesdilla was crispy on the outside and packed so full part of it had to be eaten with a fork. The surf and turf burger was attacked so high with seafood and burger that it was difficult to fit in her mouth. A nice problem to have. The prime rib sandwich had so much meat that it was commented on twice. Our waitress was a gem. She was pleasant, on top of things, and chatted with us when we encouraged her. The prices are a bit high for lunch but as you can tell, well worth it.

Normally it's not a good idea for someone like me, a person with a severe seafood allergy, to get dinner from a "Riverside Grill", but having just arrived at our AirBnB and not knowing other options in the area, I decided to give it a shot. Man am I glad I did! The entire staff was attentive, and our waitress was absolutely delightful and most thoughtful when made aware of my allergy - making a delicious food suggestion and menu accommodation for me and ensuring all in our party enjoyed their meals and were well taken care of. The restaurant was clean, the food was great and the atmosphere and staff was/were warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

First time was a company Thanksgiving party. I had Fish and Chips. I think the fish was Cod (fried), and the fries had a light seasoning on them. It was awesome. Everyone else had been there before and they eat there often. I will go back.

Doc's is our go-to bar and grille and we have NEVER had a bad meal here, literally ever! Everything on their menu is delicious and their service is great! The bar side is also family friendly and you can eat in there with the kids after sports games in the evenings or summertime. The outside patio is a great spot too! Perfect local spot with food and drinks to make anyone happy! Great selection! Been going there for years and will continue to be our go-to spot! Shrimp BLT salad is my favorite, their burgers are perfect, wraps are delish! Dinner menu also spot on!

Two for two at this hidden gem! Stopped by Docs for lunch and once again they delivered! Great service and excellent food. I had the chicken burrito bowl for lunch with the smoked wings for an appetizer both were cooked to perfection. I washed them down with a local brew, Franks Amber Ale which was exceptional! While this place is not on the river, the outside seating ambience is awesome! 😎

Excellent place to eat lunch or dinner! Had the blacked shrimp wrap with BLT...huge wrap! Applesauce was a welcome side and always refreshing iced tea..staff and hostess Susie are always welcome, caring and friendly...my go to place in Centreville !

All the food was amazing!! Service 10/10 fast friendly and welcoming. Drinks also great. Didn’t get any photos of the food. Had the oysters, crab soup(amazing), surf and turf burger with fries, bang bang chicken with onion rings.

Definitely recommend if you are in the area! I ordered the shrimp mac n cheese, and it was delicious besides the shrimp tasting a little like the ocean. Appetizers are fabulous! Service was SUPERIOR! The atmosphere is relaxing. Check the patio out if you can! Highly recommend!

Passing through Maryland with my Wife and Daughter food was really good! Seasoned very well and everything was fresh ! Thank you !!!

Every time I am in the Centreville, MD area and have the pleasure of visiting Doc’s I am never disappointed. The wings, burgers, nacho’s, tacos and beer selection are quality and the vibe is always super chill. The service is excellent and the locals are always friendly. If it’s a nice day don’t hesitate to sit outside to enjoy a meal. Plenty of parking out front and affordable menu options along with specials.

Wow, awesome scenery, great food and awesome service

Bean was our waitress, she was perfect! Sat outside originally, but I attracted a clingy bee, so we changed seating to the inside. The Strawberry Spinach Salad was soooo good! Very cool bar. When I'm back in the area, I will definitely be back!

This cozy spot has a dining room, sports bar, and seasonal outside patio dining. It is a gathering place popular with residents as they serve up great appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, beers, and more. I especially enjoyed their Fried Oysters appetizer. The crispy, plump oysters were just the right balance of crunchy, sweet, buttery, and briny! In short, YUM! Their Cream of Crab soup was amazingly creamy, rich in flavor, and plenty of fresh crabmeat. Double YUM, YUM! And my girlfriends loved their choices too, including a substantial Cobb Salad and Seafood Soup of the Day. All in all, a delightful lunch served by pleasant and attentive staff. Definitely, a fun and delicious spot day or night!

I was visiting from Florida and of course there's no place better for seafood then that area. Everything was amazing. From the crab cakes to the Prime Rib. By the way the Prime Rib is tender, juicy and enough to take home to eat later. The service was good !! Will certainly return when l am in the area again.
