Port House® Grill Crab Cakes

The food here is great. The place has its own parking lot. We had the crab cakes, one of the best ones I've ever had. When they say no filler, they mean no filler in the crab cake.

Thank you so much to the manager for correcting their service mistakes. I live in Florida so would have never been able to redeem a voucher in store so she sent me crab cakes to my house in FL to make sure I got to taste them. This was my first taste of a Maryland crab cake. Honestly I probably prefer the FL/southern style with breading and "filler" but I know that's not the Chesapeake Bay way lol. The crab cakes I received were delicious and you can clearly tell it's all crab. This was the best customer service correction I've ever seen and deserves recognition. Thanks!

We were very excited to get our first authentic MD crab cake and were referred to this place by a shop owner down the street. The atmosphere was cute and you could tell it's locally-owned. The prices were pretty high... ~$25 for a single crab cake... But I ordered anyway. I ordered one crab cake and one crab bisque. We were the only people in the dining room and after 40 minutes we still did not have our food. I went up to the counter and the teenagers working there all seemed clueless and said they must have accidentally forgotten about it and cleared it off the screen so had not even started. They offered to make it then but I asked to just be refunded... The (also teenager) manager came out and refunded us and apologized and offered future store credit, but we live in Florida so that doesn't really help. Ended up going next door and getting great food and service. (And cheaper crab)

My fiance were passing through and saw a sign for award winning no filler cream cakes so just like any other foodies, we had to stop. These crab cakes were $14 a piece, so needless to say, at that price, they better be great!

Quickly after taking our first bites, we realized they were as great as anticipated! Crab called with no filler are hard to come by, but these guys nailed it! They ship their frozen crab cakes all over the country. We may be getting added to their distribution list!

Crab cakes are the best. House Salad and Chefs Vegetables ...very tasty...sauteed in soy & olive oil w/ salt pepper.
Try the Old Bay Guacamole and fresh made/fried pita chips...so good...put some on your Crab Cake? I did...it works well!

Service was great. All of the people I saw working there came by to ask us how everything was.

We were driving through North east and saw the sign "crab cake no filler" we just had to stop in. The crab cakes were amazing. I was digging in so fast I forgot to take a picture before hand. Full of crab meat. Fries were also very good. Great porch seating. Must have to stop in next time we are down that way.

This was our second visit the Port House Grill. Both have been outstanding. The staff is very courteous and the food is excellent.

In this picture my father and I had the crab cake platter. It was one of the best crab cakes I've tasted. (Warning: because they don't use a filler I believe they used egg to bind...) My wife had the filet sandwich which I tasted as well and it was good.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. They also have a Telsa charger!

My favorite place for crab cakes. Gluten-free, no filler, so delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit!

Honestly, didn't expect it to be good considering it was a trailer. Boy, I was wrong! Tasty flavors at a fair price. It seemed to be OK to park in the curb side pickup spots. Bonus for Tesla owners: There's a Tesla Destination Charger in the parking lot!

Great customer service tonight at Porthouse Crabcakes & Creamery. It was our anniversary and we were wanting ice cream. We walked up at 6:30 and realized they closed at 4. The owner, Kelly, was leaving as we were walking away. He asked if we wanted ice cream and re-opened the store just for us! We didn’t reaize they make their own ice cream - it was delicious, highly recommend.

I had the crab cakes platter, oh my goodness! Absolutely delicious. Nothing fancy about this place, just great food and friendly staff.

Truly a tasty crab cake...good fries...made the wait worthwhile.

Port House Grill's crabcake lunch made my birthday complete! The BEST GF crabcake I've had!

I'd give this place more stars if I could. The wait for Woody's was obscene and we weren't treated very well down there. I was looking for something quicker but really delicious to feed my family. Port House Grill was AMAZING!!! The food was just excellent- the crab cake the biggest and best I've ever had maybe in my entire life. Just wow, they are good. We also had the Islander salad along with my crab cake, fries and crab cake sandwich. The ice cream at the end is delicious too- extremely happy we found this place and we will be back!!!

The staff are friendly and kind. The food was so much better than expected from the menu description. The little homemade touches are what make this place outstanding. The slaw tasted like my mom's recipe, the crab cakes were fresh and not greasy, the Islander salad was perfection and needed no protein added, the fries were absolutely fantastic, and the ice cream was heaven. We had the midnight chocolate and the coffee together. This place exceeded all expectations. We pulled off the interstate to go to another restaurant and a local told us to go here instead. No regrets. It was fantastic.

I tried this restaurant for the first time an loved it! The staff was extremely accommodating the food amazing the best crab cake I've had in a long time it's a must try. I highly recommend!

The crab bisque was very good. My crab cake tasted delicious however they are small, I should have gotten two. A bit pricey so I don't go as often as I would like. Nice treat a couple times a year. I highly recommend!

Delicious crab cakes with no fillers, gluten friendly! coleslaw was awesome also
