Forget catching cleaning and cooking your own fish this place does it better than any fresh catch you can do.... never fish taste always fresh

Went through the drive through yesterday, and the gentleman working the window was very pleasant, and the food was prepared quickly and done well.

Good food, great service, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Stopped in here for lunch one afternoon on my way to the Verizon store. Generally my experience with Captain D's goes one of two ways; dirty and trashy or its the ideal Captain D's experience. Luckily my experience at this specific location was the latter. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean & stocked. When we walked in the door we were able to order our food quickly without having to wait in a long line. Emily was pleasant to deal with while we placed our order. We got a fish and chicken meal and a fish and shrimp meal. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot and fresh. They had lots of sauce options and we didn't have to ask for a handful like we normally do because it was a self-serve sauce station. For fast food, this location is a decent spot because it has more of a sit-down style restaurant rather than your typical fast-food restaurant. They had appropriate 'ocean & fishing' décor which gave this restaurant a nice touch.

Just and all around good place to eat. Friendly people, conferable seating, and of course great food.

Oh awesome food. Fresh cooked an friendly folks that went beyond there job to bring our food an check on us. So enjoyed every bite of there fresh cooked food. Try this out..💐🤸🤸🎈🎊🤸❤💝

Better than most , cleaner for sure. Food was good !!!

It's my favorite food and because it's out of town for me I rarely get to enjoy it ... But it was great ! I loved every bite.!!

If anybody knows an alyssa belle hannah please email me she comes here all the time with her mom and dad and i havnt been able to get ahold of her and im worried about her we were dating and one day she just stopped texting back ik this is weird to do as a review but ive tried everything to try and find out what happened with no luck.

Food at the Ellijay location was good but the wait was 40 minutes from time of order and incorrect. The young lady taking orders seemed to be tired or just unpleasant or maybe both. Bathrooms needed to be serviced. Won’t be going back to this location.

Update March 2022 - I followed the link provided and corporate management responded immediately. They expressed their concerns and a sincere desire to "make-it-right" to me. True to their word, I received four coupons for free meals at the Ellijay location. So upon our return to Ellijay in March, we went to Captain D's and were pleasantly surprized. The staff was cheerful, greeted us warmly and promptly took our order which was completed perefectly. The restrooms were very clean and the food was really good. As such, I've updated the rating to five stars. The story has a happy ending and we look forward to continuing to stop at the Ellijay Captain D's. Customer service does make a difference!

Came through drive-thru late near closing and the young lady working the window had a great attitude and was singing to herself cheerfully while she worked. Too bad there aren't more young people like her!

Food was hot and fresh. The dining room and restrooms were clean. I would definitely eat here again.

Good fish meal as always.

Everytime I come here it's a plus the food is always fresh and the staff are nice Captain D's is my go to place for fish
Went here on 5/19/22 and dining room is always closed when I go here and I understand short staff but everywhere else has their dining room open

Food was Good and the service was Great. Had a super helpful man working serving drinks and getting people anything they needed. The people truly make the difference.

This location always has the best fish. Cooked just right. Friendly service, and offers a military discount.

Rick Swartz is a fantastic manager, his restaurant is always clean and the food is always hot & tasty! Couldn't be better if he tried . . . Yummy! Keep it up Rick!

Always delicious and pleasant. The only thing red lobster has on the Ds is their cheese biscuit but Ds has some great bread so I call that even.

Had a group of 20 people ahead of our group of 7. Staff stayed calm and was very efficient. Food was good and fresh! Great visit!

Great friendly staff, Fresh food,an good sweet tea. They were also very good about getting your refills. Great work ladies!
