The Living Room on Main

We enjoyed the Living Room two nights this week. We had plans with friends at another great restaurant, but after a fantastic meal, we invited them to the Living Room instead. The food was fabulous and the staff was stellar! Kudos to Bri and Alex. We will be back again and again!

This was our first time at The Living Room and it was such a cute and comfortable spot. Everything from start to finish was amazing and our server Alexandra did phenomenal with her friendliness and hospitality. We got Buffalo Cauliflower and the focaccia and whipped feta apps, both were delicious. My husband got the chicken gnocchi and I got the tuna poke appetizer for dinner, we both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. We will definitely be back!

A gem in Dunedin! Everything about The Living Room is SUPERB! The gnocchi melts in your mouth, the double burger is so light and delicious and the focaccia bread NO WORDS! The service is beyond 5 stars and the manager was so attentive to our needs we didn’t want to leave. THANK YOU for recognizing your customers and welcoming us.

I went to the living room on St. Patrick's Day. It was completely full, but luckily, we were able to get a table by the front dhornbeef. Cabbage, potatoes, and carrots were the specialty of the day, and it was spectacular. The atmosphere was great. The service was wonderful. And the place is located right on the main drag. In Dunnellen.

ALEX! Thee best server in all of Tampa Bay! A young captain jack sparrow! He was awesome. Honestly, our glasses were never empty. What a gem! Any restaurant would be lucky to have him.

What a fabulous spot in downtown Dunedin. Eclectic and fun decor, attentive servers, and awesome food. The burgers and salads are huge portions. My family also enjoys the flatbreads because they offer unique flavors. Phil was kind enough to stop by our table and ask how we were doing and if he could get us anything. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner. Bonus: plenty of indoor and outdoor seating .

Had an amazing time for brunch! Our server, Alex was great with the bottomless mimosas! He was very attentive! Not to mention, he looks like a young jack sparrow!

We had a delicious dinner and relaxing experience at The Living Room. "Welcome home" is not just a gimmick on their menu, they made us feel comfortable. And 50% off dinner on Monday's for front line workers is an honor!

The Living Room on Main has some pretty good food with friendly servers. I love that they have a dog menu too. The server was lovely, she took her time to explain to us the food on the menu. Due to some health issue, my friend was only able to eat fat free food, so we asked if we could order the dog food for ourselves too (since it was low in fat). The server was kind enough to help us to make a human version of the dog menu. I got the crab cake Benedict, the crab was was delicious too!

This place could get busy, especially when there is an event happening on the street. So the wait could be up to 30 minutes. Except for that, the ambiance was just lovely.

This place is rad! I was visiting family in the area and really loved the ambiance of the spot. Food was great but the Service was even better. I've been in customer service for 20 years and the lady that waited on us was top notch, Hayley went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Thank you! We will be back.

Went here for a ladies brunch yesterday. They had a beautiful area for us. The seasonal drink Seance Sipper was amazing! My friends had the bottomless mimosas. I ordered the Roasted Beet Carpaccio and was not disappointed! Aimee was our server and she was very attentive. This place is worth the money.

We dine alot at various restaurants. This was one of our favorites. The food quality, the presentation, the staff, and the experience was amazing. Ashley did everything perfectly. If you dont eat here, you will be making a big mistake. One of the best!!!

Great food and atmosphere. We dined outside and enjoyed the food and service in a shady patio spot. Our waiter, Alex, was very personable and kind. He made our experience even more enjoyable. The Living Room is our new favorite spot in Dunedin!

Great place! Alex was a great server, very descriptive on the menu items, friendly and accommodating. I had the salmon and my boyfriend had the vegan stir fry. Topped by one of the house made desserts! We’ll definitely be back!

The vibe is perfect! LGBTQ+ friendly & this is just an all-around well-run place. Our food was amazing too and very well priced! The atmosphere is perfect for casual clothing or dressier, if you like, but not necessary. Very comfortable and our server was awesome!

We could not get a table outside, so were seated inside. The chairs were padded and comfy. Rather 60's in style. I had a draft beer and my love had a coke. His arrived before mine. I ordered the mushroom gnocchi and added shrimp, which much to my delight arrived blackened. He had the Bobby Boucher, which is basically shrimp and crayfish in a cajun alfredo with linguine. I almost ordered that as it is what I was searching for on menus earlier that day... Shrimp in a spicy cream sauce with pasta! But say mushrooms and I spin the other way! The gnocchi were pillows of perfectly cooked goodness with three kinds of mushrooms and blistered tomatoes in a cream sauce with my shrimp on the side on the same plate and since I had wanted something with some spice I was delighted that they were blackened. That bit of spice put this dish over the top for me! We both were so delighted with our meals. It would have been nice if my love could get a coke refill but the waiter did everything but attend to us. I almost called the front desk from our table to request a refill. I guess when 20% gratuity is already tacked on some staff can work at a different pace or be less than attentive since you are at their mercy and will be tipping well never the less. The only thing to take those two dishes to perfect would be to serve with some lovely bread to mop up the delicious sauces. We'll be back but I will call the front desk the next time our server is that indifferent to waiting on us. Oh and Mondays give a frontline discount however only nurses are mentioned for in hospital workers. Rather selective since SO many more of us take a beating daily in ERs and TRAUMA centers than just nurses. But police, fire and first responders are also included along with hospitality.

First time here at The Living Room and for me I think this could have been a 5 Star experiance with a little more detail. First ones in for dinner and the place was empty so service got a 5. Brandon our server was very accommodating and pleasurable in spite of our jokes.
Here's where the improvements start. Serving some sort of bread and dip go a long way while waiting for your entrees. I realize they want to sell appetizers but, bring on the bread. Drinks were on spot.
The meals were quite enjoyable though salmon was a little dry and my potatoes a little cold. Serving meals at the same time are good but someone's plate usually suffers with the wait.
Overall I will be back when in town and am sure the next experience will be just as good or better. Just needs a few added touches.
