Bon Appétit Restaurant & Bar

I've been living in the area for 30+ years and this restaurant has always been a high-end go to for a nice meal. Excellent service very well prepared meals and a lighter Fair menu as well. I had a french onion soup which was fabulous and a sandwich called The Cure with Italian Meats. What a wonderful light Fair meal. Plenty of incredible entrees I recommend the seafood highly as Seafood is their specialty however they also have wonderful steak and duck! I should have taken pictures of the menu that would have really been helpful and will do so next time I.

We recently hosted my daughters bridal shower at Bon Appetit, and I can not express how wonderful Nancy and Nicole are to work with. They could not have been more accommodating. The staff was as also beyond wonderful, they provided us excellent service and were so very helpful in every way. All of this plus the incredible views and the food was all delicious. Our guests are still raving about the entire event. I highly recommend hosting events here, or treat yourself to a wonderful meal and experience. We will be back! Thank you Nancy and Nicole again!

Ate here for my engagement dinner. The French onion soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. The lobster tail was OK. It was a little bit chewy. The filet mignon was cooked exactly how I asked and very buttery. The squid appetizer was delicious!
Service was great. Very friendly staff. The location and atmosphere is beautiful. Would love to eat here again.

By far this is the best place I have ever been to since I moved to Clearwater ❤🎉 The atmosphere is amazing and the views are breathtaking. The food is excellent and the service staff are amazing. I am going to visit again soon with my husband. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event for us on the second floor. The gala was magical.

We were delighted to receive a gift certificate. Service by Sher was exceptional. Food was incredible. The table side deboning of the Dover Sole was perfection. Special thanks to Sher for being so accommodating to my father who is extremely hard of hearing. Best dinner in town!

Excellent fine dining experience out on the covered dock overlooking the marina and open water. Excellent service. The French onion soup was excellent. It was one of the best I've had in a while. We tried the escargot, and it was very good. It was prepared differently, but very good. The Cobb salad was fresh and delicious. The fish was deboned and served tableside. Great experience.

Loved every moment I had with my SO to celebrate my birthday and our love since it’s around Valentine’s Day. The view, the piano, the food, and the service are all amazing and I appreciate the memories created here!

Obviously the view here is very nice, but the real star of this place are the steamed muscles. The sauce that the muscles are cooked in is incredible, honestly I could not even have the muscles but some bread and sauce and be happy, it’s that good

A wonderful restaurant for a fancier and more elegant atmosphere. If you like seafood you will really enjoy it here. The view is beautiful and the crab cakes are a must!!! Also, they have a nice selection of mocktails and alcohol free wine for those that prefer not to drink.

Absolutely spectacular. The views are pristine, the food was incredible and the service as well. I had the duck and my wife had the grouper. She shared some oysters with a glass of wine as appetizer as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic restaurant that we just chose off the map while driving around. Absolutely first-rate cuisine. Different dining options depending on your mood. More casual dining outside of More formal table settings and atmosphere inside. A definite must if you're in Dunedin and looking for a top quality menu.

My wife and I plus another couple had dinner here. For me, the food is 4 star. However, my friend says it was the best grouper he has ever eaten. I had duck, 1 of us had a seafood stir fry, my friend had the scallops. So all in all it was good, but my duck was a little overson done.

The service was impeccable. Kevin really cared for us. His recommendations were spot on. The cauliflower piccata was divine. The chicken in wine was so tender and flavorful. But my favorite was a side of sweet potato cake! We enjoyed the private sunset! I am sure it was just for us.

Great food, great views, great service. Will dine again. It's pretty pricey and prices have gone up a lot semi recently per our dining partner who used to go there regularly, but it was a solid meal and we left happy to return again.

What a magical experience having dinner watching the sunset and boats passing by! The food was delicious , my chicken in red wine was superb. Manu was amazing tending to our needs ensuring our experience was five star . We truly enjoyed being served by such a charming server. Will recommend to others and be back soon!

I had a great dinner at Bon Appetit and the service made the experience even better! The food was amazing and the views of the sunset and the water were beautiful. Our server Garrett was very helpful with recommendations and always checking in on the table. He was a pleasure to talk to and made the dinner very entertaining. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy scenic views of the sunset or stroll through their exclusive guest pier. We had a great dinner, and we enjoyed the Lobster Bisque, Lazy Man’s Lobster, and chicken Caesar salad. For dessert, we had coconut cream pie with a cappuccino which was a delectable combination. The great food and picturesque view made our dinner a memorable one.

Bon Appetit Restaurant is an oceanfront restaurant located in Dunedin, Florida that boasts a breathtaking view. It's no surprise that it was voted the best waterfront restaurant in Tampa Bay. Established in 1976, this restaurant has been providing fine French cuisine for over four decades. The restaurant's name is literally translated to "Enjoy your food," and we certainly did.
My wife ordered the dover sole, which was sautéed lightly in lemon butter and deboned tableside. My wife thoroughly enjoyed it.
I opted for my favorite French dish, the Bouillabaisse, which was one of the best presentations of this dish that I have ever seen. The mixed seafood, including shrimp, mussels, scallops, and Florida grouper, was cooked in a saffron & garlic fumet with a French baguette & saffron aioli. The dish was beautifully presented and had a wonderful taste. The only minor criticism I have is that there were slightly more diced potatoes than I expected. To complement the dish, I enjoyed a glass of chilled, crispy, and full-bodied Chardonnay.
Our evening at Bon Appetit was truly memorable, and the service was great, thanks to a friendly waiter from Hungary who reminded me of some of my Hungary colleagues and friends. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and company of our good old friends. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience with a stunning view, Bon Appetit Restaurant and Bar is definitely worth a visit.

I took my mom here for a belated Mother's Day lunch and we were super pleased with everything we got. The service was quick but friendly and our server made helpful recommendations using her tablet to show us pictures of specials. I felt the server was very confident in what she was selling and that the results were consistent with any photos they had. I thought that was a great tool to introduce menu items to customers. I also really appreciated the electronic check system. We were able to leave when she finished her glass of wine with no problem and email the receipt. Thanks, Bon Appetit! I highly recommend the escargot.
