High & Dry Grill

What a wonderful little beach tiki bar! Nothing fancy, just reasonably priced food, cold beverage and great views! You can put your toes in the sand and enjoy the beautiful sunset. I had the chicken tacos which were very much like what you would make at home and were very reasonably priced at $8.50 (3/24). The location also rents kayaks and paddle boards by the hour, so you can paddle around and then enjoy a meal and drinks!

Heading back from beach and decided to stop. My wife had the fish sandwich and I got the Battered, deep fried chicken tenderloin strips with their special seasoning that gives it a unique pop. Great dining experience. Yes, we now both know the birds will snatch a French fry from your hand as it heads to your mouth!

Awesome owners awesome people good people kind of place. The one star reviews are wrong. Five dollar ice cold Budweiser on the beach. Are you kidding me? That’s a great price for a sunset beer

Great little beach bar on the Dunedin Causeway with awesome views. Perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. Great service provided by super friendly wait staff. Montreal chicken wrap hits the spot.

How much better can it get!!! As part of the kayak, sailboat, paddle board rental place this is the best place on the Causeway for food, great food, the atmosphere is amazing the server LYDIA is the best!

Not to mention the affordable menu how can you go wrong with this place to eat!

And don't worry with a little directional knowledge of where the sun sets.... Nothing is obstructing the view of the sunset!!

This was exactly what we were looking for. A nice tiki type bar and grill. It's right on the beach and it was surprisingly chill and quiet. We sat under the awning with the cool sea breeze blowing in. Aaliyah was a wonderful waitress. We tried the house made brat and WOW! Best we've ever had. The drinks were a little higher priced but still a good deal all around. Would go back for food.

High & Dry is a fun yet quaint bar and grill right next to the water/beach. This place offers quick foods like quesadillas, fish sticks, fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders. You can also order chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, and cheeseburgers. We ordered the fish sticks and quesadilla platters…both tasted great! The view of the sunset was strikingly beautiful! Everyone at the Hugh & Dry clapped and applauded the sun setting behind the ocean. So surreal!
The service was phenomenal - he provided us recommendations on where to go and what to do. Highly recommend the High & Dry if you are looking for a quick eat/drink with a fantastic view of the beach.

I first started going out to the Causeway during Covid, unfortunately like most places it had shutdown. I still make the drive in from north Tampa as I find the Causeway a soft place to land. I dont know why I hadn't stopped-in again sooner.
I was told by the owner that she bought and reopened just after the pandemic was winding-down. Glad it's back in business, running an establishment like this is tough at best.
Fine atmosphere, friendly service and terrific food.
I had 2 rum drinks, a sausage dog and some pretty awesome onion rings. The prices were more than reasonable..
Was there just in time to watch the sunset.
I will make it a point to stop-in more often. Would also recommend to my friends.

Came out here to Dunedin and wanted to have lunch right on the water. This is the perfect casual spot for it. Fish sandwich, shrimp tacos and fish sticks were flavorful. Prices were very reasonable!

This place is so cute!!! We got to sit and look right at the water. I had the chicken wrap (per our waitress’s recommendation) and it was delicious! My strawberry margarita was also delicious. Everyone was friendly and I highly recommend this cute restaurant.

Perfect spot to enjoy a snack and a beverage on the way to or from Honeymoon Island!

It's on the causeway!! You can't go wrong, nice breeze under the tiki! Great sunsets, kayak action and fishing!

Loved the tiki atmosphere and the Dead Parrot from Florida Avenue Brewing. It’s a crisp sea salt and lime Pilsner, was awesome!
