Interesting place as it's an old trailer home parked in a parking lot and converted to a restaurant. But don't let that chase you off because it has a cool vibe and the grouper fish tacos were outstanding.
Definitely on my list of places to eat regularly. Good prices too.

Nicole was our waitress. She was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We liked her vibe. Ordered the fish and chips basket and OMG..Three very nice pieces and so delicious 😋. I could only eat one. Thought I would order a side salad not thinking again and it was huge. Very fresh..and very good.

I have been coming here for years and the food hospitality drinks is outstanding. Plus the overall southern hospitality feel you get is great. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

Stopped here because the traffic to Honeymoon Island was ridiculous! The staff were SO nice and accommodating of me and my doggo. They even made him some grilled chicken at a very reasonable price. Everyone was also very helpful in finding an alternative dog-friendly beach to go to. Thank you!

I love this place great food great atmosphere the entertainment is wonderful. I wish they were a little closer to the beach and they are on a busy corner but they are right next door to where I live the drinks are good too

This is a little restaurant in the Cricketeers parking lot. We went there instead of waiting 1.5 hours. The corned beef and cabbage was delicious.

The people who work here are great. I was there a couple months ago after not being there for a while because I moved out of the area and everyone was happy to see me. The food there is very good and the prices are good. Casual and close to the beaches...great place to have a nice dinner after a day at the beach.

We stopped in yesterday after leaving the beach, so glad we did! We felt very welcomed! It’s definitely a locals type bar/atmosphere. It’s very quaint inside but I loved it! Nice spacious outdoor patio area that lit up at night. We had smoked blackened wings & ribs. The wings had a good seasoned taste but was very fatty or not cooked long enough. The ribs were good and very tender, plentiful meat falling off the bone. The drinks were really good & reasonably priced. Ariana & Kelly were a dynamic duo! Both had excellent service, very friendly, smiling and patient. We never had to ask for anything! We’d definitely drive back for their 5 star service & even the owner walked around greeted & checked on us & other tables! Very impressive! Can’t wait to check out the live band one day soon. Great place!

Went here on Monday, July 31st to take a nice drive and have a lunch. I selected Sandbar because of its location to Dunedin Causeway, open on Monday and reviews that were excellent. We three agreed that the beer was cold, the food was delicious and service, including Nicole, were exceptional. Fried mushrooms, grouper and chicken made for a great outing.

If you are craving grouper, this place will not disappoint! I have never had a grouper dish served less than perfect! On a salad, in a sandwich,on a platter, grilled or blackened, always perfectly cooked. So soft and delicious! Sometimes it's hot because, hello Florida! But always great service and always great food!

Small BUT best spot on the causeway. Prices are fantastic and the vibes are super lovely . Alexis and the rest of the Staff are extremely kind and they are efficient. 2.75 for a land shark draft? Say less 😇

Decided to have a Bloody Mary Sunday. This was our best stop out of at least 10 inches past two Sundays. Very REASONABLY priced and delicious . Nicole gave amazing service ❣

Just a couple of miles east of Honeymoon Island, this is an awesome place for an inexpensive delicious meal. It’s tiny hole in the the wall bar and grill in the Publix parking lot. I’ve been here several times and the food and service are always great. The seafood bisque “Lobster” was flavorful and fresh. The chargrilled hamburger was fresh and had an excellent chargrill flavor.

Love going here for lunch. Great specials and the girl’s waiting on us are awesome!! Never a wait at lunch and you can sit outside or under roof if weather is bad. Highly recommend.
