Woodson Bend Resort

We stayed at a condo in this resort and it was amazing. We loved how peaceful the resort was. We got to see so much wildlife everywhere. The golf course was challenging and it was very fun. There was plenty of activities for the children to do.

Visited for one week in 2018, loved it so much that we purchased a unit and have been returning for two days weekly as our work schedule permits. Ready to retire down here in June, 2024.

5th year coming here and the staff at the pro shop go above and beyond!! Phenomenal course!

We rented a condo through Lake Cumberland Resorts and stayed at Woodson Bend Resort- It was my husband and our 2 kids- aged 9 and 7. The condo had a view of lake and was wonderful! The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed! The furniture was old but comfortable! I recommend renting a golf cart for driving around the resort. We loved the restaurant, Mulligans- we ate there (it's BYOB) and got it for take-out! We also saw a band there and loved it! We rented a boat and tube for the day from Lee's Ford Marina! It was a wonderful weekend!

Great experience and the place continues to get better. A better common area to hangout at at night aside from the big fire pit would be nice.

Lady who follows you around on the golf course is pretty annoying as well. Have her keep her distance after she does her checks.

Love this place! So many family memories made here. 4th of July week festivities can’t be beat.

Beautiful, clean and relaxing. Lovely golf course with a quaint restaurant. It's a wonderful place to put your boat in the water, swim at their pool or just enjoy the scenery and walking trails. The cabins are a wonderful place to stay with your kids or just your significant other. It's a home away from home in a scenic, forested setting.

I love this place! You can literally feel the vacation and relaxation vibes upon entering the gated community. Super close to the Kroger and Somerset, and nestled into Lake Cumberland. Beautiful golf course teeming with deer, squirrels, and birds. Friendly guests and owners. Great facilities and staff. The seasonal restaurant, Mulligan’s, is run by a culinary school, and the food is delicious. I have an amazing experience every visit.

It is very peaceful here. Condos line the streets with very green grass and a beautiful 18-hole golf course. If golf is not your thing and you can always check out the swimming pool. Next to swimming pool is a laundromat a library and a beautiful restaurant. This place also has a boat dock and boat launcher. But no you can only enter if you are a condo owner, renting a condo, or someone that owns a condo invite you.

Great golf, family fun, great access to lake Cumberland, excellent pavilion in the back for grilling and huge campfire pit, nice deer sightings, tennis, and great pool! Overall an excellent vacation or extended stay! It just keeps getting better over the years! We visit from Florida. Been going for 30 plus years!

Have been coming to Woodson Bend for over 20+ years for trips to Lake Cumberland. The condos themselves are each rented out by their owners, so the accommodations are different each time, but the resort offers many recreational facilities - tennis, basketball, playgrounds, a pool, etc as well as a restaurant, golf course, and a small dock. The resort grounds and facilities may be dated, but are well kept and full of charm. People here are warm and welcoming and have some great social events, like the 4th of July fireworks. Perfect for family trips!

Woodson Bend is beautiful--even in November! The condo I rented was spacious and comfortable; the beds were terrific--not too hard, not too soft, but just right. Both Security and Administration were friendly and helpful. I'll stay at Woodson Bend again.

Woods on Bend Resort is a very laid back place to stay.it is family friendly. It has a nice pool, playground, basketball, volleyball. Right on comberland lake. There is also a nice golf course. The grounds are kept nice and lots of woods and wildlife around to enjoy.

Very nice, quiet place. Many amenities like golf, swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, and of course fishing beautiful Lake Cumberland and just 10 minutes from Somerset Ky for all your needs.

☆Beautiful private gated community. The golf course is fantastic, and for the wildlife lovers, the deer are plentiful and almost tame. ☆There is a clubhouse with an excellent restaurant. It is operated by students and staff of a local cordon bleu college. Prices are what you'd expect in a place like this, but well worth it! ☆There is a full size pool and children's pool area open to residents and guests. They very often have DJ's and fun events lined up on weekends. ☆There are also 4 tennis courts. ☆Alongside the pool for kids to enjoy, they have 2 playgrounds. They could stand an upgrade in this area, but they're still fun! ☆There's a fitness center and water aerobics. ☆The staff and officers that patrol 24/7 are super friendly and will do anything they can to help. ☆They have their own boat dock and slips available to rent. ☆They have a really cool and BIG fire pit area with a covered shelter with several picnic tables. - The only thing lacking is a resort provided wifi, but most folks don't mind, and since the condo's are mainly privately owned, they will get their own cable/digital/wifi service.

My family and I have been going to Woodson Bend Resort since I was born. Literally. My folks purchased a condo here two years before I was born!

Many fantastic memories of Woodson Bend Resort over the years. Whether you want to play pickleball, golf, go boating, or just relax, Woodson Bend Resort is a great place to do it.

Staff works hard to keep resort beautiful, and the restaurant has good food. Swimming pool is so nice, and snack bar has quick food. Golf course is in good shape.

Everything you’d hope for and more. Beautiful, outdoorsy, friendly and clean. Nice people everywhere you go, and nice scenery all over the place. I highly recommend coming here if you like the outdoorsy theme with good neighbors and watersports just seconds away.

It is nice to visit to golf with friends bit the resort itself needs to be updated and remodeled some they were built in the 50s and need work done from the ones ive seen anyway!

It's a great family atmosphere. One of our favorite places to visit yearly. Clean, safe and relaxing.
