Cornerstone Baptist Church

Myself and a couple friends visited here early July and we were so encouraged by our visit. Prior to this the three of us attended churches that were all about providing a show and winning people to everything but Jesus. This church was packed, but there was something missing…well, maybe to most there was. But I guess you could ask everyone in the packed building if there was in fact something missing and I think you’d hear a resounding “no”. Nearly every single man had their Bibles in hand, not the church’s Bibles, their own Bibles, every child was intent on listening to the message and participating in the service (not a cell phone or distraction in sight), and there was absolutely no clapping after a song just “yes” and “amen”, all for the sake of taking the focus off of man and pointing it to God, the real reason as to why we were all there. Because, there was no fancy lights, no worship team (I take that back the hundreds of people in the pews were the worship team), no coffee, no snacks, and really nothing and yet everything…Gods people, Himself, and his Word and it was like a slice of heaven. Now you may disagree with me on the beauty of this, but for me it was a great reminder of the real reason we gather on Sundays and that nothing else is needed or even necessary. Since attending one time in person (I'm located out of state), I've been listening to messages online....lots of them! I can't recommend this church enough!

I was born and raised here and I love this church! I consider the people here family. I believe our pastor is truly one of a kind! He passionately preaches the truth and he has a heart for people. He sincerely believes what he teaches. The music we sing is a blessing! We sing old hymns and enjoy every minute of it! We are passionately involved in giving to missions. We love to have visitors and hope you come visit us sometime! God Bless!

What a blessing this pastor has been to our church and my family, personally. He preached a revival on the Home & Family...life changing. I thank him for his willingness to tell the truth, for his love, and kindness. Without a single doubt in my mind, one of the best preachers, to God be the glory!

A favorite church of our entire family. We look forward to every opportunity that we can come here. The preaching and family-feel here is something only the Lord can do!! Definitely a place to visit!

Never been to a service there. I'm their ups guy. Delivered to them for years. They've always been great to me. Seem to have their act together
