La Cabana

We loved this place! It was exactly what we were looking for after a three hour drive. Something for the whole family, chips and salsa right when you sit down, good prices.

Everything we got was fresh and so delicious.
The fried chicken and steak chimichangas we got were perfection. Excellent service.
Fast and great prices, too.

Fantastic! We were first timers on a Tuesday. Had all you can eat tacos and a chicken chimi. Chicken chimi had a little kick to it, but was better than no flavor bland! We will definitely be back again. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table, but our food was fresh hot and fast. Worth every second we waited!

I 100% recommend eating here. The women working were so sweet and nice, they made sure we got the best deal possible. The queso is a must try, as well as the steak burrito. The seasoning on the steak was very flavorful, more so then most mexican restaurants I have been to. My boyfriend ordered the all-you-can-eat-tacos, ended at 8 😊 but such a good deal if your feeling super hungry. We will be visiting again, and I look forward to stopping by and ordering more food.

Such a great experience as we stopped for our first time passing through Spooner. The guac was delicious and had a perfect kick. We both enjoyed our meals a ton. We’ll definitely be back!

I must start with the service was incredibly fast! Drew took our order and literally brought our meals back in less than 5 minutes. Piping hot, flavorful, and large portions. We will be back!

The restaurant was packed. It was at the end of the evening and the employees were tired but still friendly. The food was soooo delicious. I had the Philly steak sandwich. The beef was sliced thin and the ‘au juis’ was amazing. The bun was so fresh and delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better sandwich.
She had a sizzling skillet of fajita that she loved. I highly recommend eating here. Not fancy. Just a good comfortable place to eat at ‘up north’.

What a hidden gem in Spooner WI. Great family owned business. They moved up from Chicago and brought the flavor of Mexico and Chicago Italian with them. Huge menu. Huge portions. Was an absolute delight. Will be back again and again! Adrian our server who may be the owner makes one of the best margaritas I have ever had!! Highly recommend.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! From the Queso, Salsa and chips to the absolute best and freshest guacamole iv’e ever had. I had the Blanco grilled chicken burrito it was amazing the chicken was tasty and tender, my hubby had the tacos Americana and loved everything about them, staff is wonderful, friendly and superb service! The atmosphere is warm and fun- I highly recommend this place!

Stopped here on our way up north. Very good Mexican food; tasty tacos, kid friendly & quick service. Would stop again! Very reasonable too!

Camaron (shrimp) tacos w sweet cabbage and chicken fajitas were both great! Shrimp tacos were “… a great bite.” Per my husband who sampled my order :)

Wow. 5 stars all day. Had the Steak Tampiqueno. Amazing seasoning and meat, with corn shells.

I am definitely stopping here again. And the food comes fast if your in a hurry. And of course the drinks are good I'm sure, margaritas etc.

This is a great restaurant. They now offer delivery service for pizza etc and potentially more future items. The delivery drivers are respectful and polite. Good quality food. Uniformed services. My favorite pizza so far is the "La Cabana" and their bread sticks. The owner is dedicated. The staff is hard working. They deserve your business. A++

Love the new menu items! The pizza and pizza fries are amazing (no picture of those). I do have a pic of the Chicago dog though and it was delicious!

Nice small, quiet place to find some of the BEST Mexican food in a very long time. Food was amazing, service was great, and the people were friendly. This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to. Large portions at great prices make it even better.

Went for lunch and was greeted by extremely friendly people. I ordered the barbacoa mac and cheese skillet and it is by far the best mac and cheese I've had in a very long time! Price was very reasonable as well. I will be back!!

I ordered catered tacos and fixings for 40 people. Picked it up and everything was perfectly packaged, the hot food was hot and cold food cold. Helped me pack it in the car. The food was delicious! Had a lot of happy guests. 💯 would order from them again!

We ordered pizzas for my son’s birthday at iPlay and they were so yummy and the service was excellent! Highly recommend. Such nice people and very good food.

The food was flavorful and the portions were huge! You definitely get your moneys worth ! The head cook/owner? Was passionate about the prepared food , you could tell because he showed pictures of his dishes and upcoming specials. This goes to show you authenticity of the Mexican food, that it was not Americanized! They do catering as well for groups. To sum it up La’Cabana restaurant & cantina is a culinary gem 💎 in the crown of Spooner Wisconsin !

This place is amazing!!! It's like the best of both worlds. Mexican and Italian food. How could you go wrong?! They make everything fresh, including the salsa and marinara sauce. It was our first time there. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. You would think we had been coming there for years by the way we were treated. We recommend this place 100000%! We most definitely will be back.
