I finally found a great stylist in Wisconsin! Cassie was amazing! Best haircut I’ve had in a long time. She is a true talented stylist. a person can go to any place I guess and get a haircut some better than others. But, to truly find a stylist that can not only make you look great, but make your hair easy to style and not look like an ordinary haircut. Also, the salon is so pleasant. She has wonderful artwork there. The ambience and environment is very comfortable. She is also the owner. And I would highly recommend her and the salon as all of the stylist there seem very knowledgeable and talented. her salon is right off Junction Road in the shopping center. It’s easy to find you can go to Google maps.

Came to Rebel for my first time getting vivid color in my hair and then a refresh couple of months later. Have had a wonderful experience both times. Maria Luna is fantastic. I mostly just let her take the wheel, which has worked out very well for me. Best haircut of my life this latest time (and I have curly hair, which has resulted in many mishaps over the years). Parking is easy (shared lot with nearby businesses), flavored waters/some snacks to choose from, comfortable chair.

I had a really great experience with Cassie. I had substantial hair thinning post chemo and this was my first time exploring extensions. We had a consult to explore the types of extensions and it was a quick turnaround to the appointment. Cassie was a pro and far exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

I came in last night for some simple curtain bangs and they came out amazing! Maria was so nice and catered to my questions, showed me how to style my bangs and showed me some products to use for my hair. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed, everyone was so friendly and inviting and the music was awesome! Thanks again for a great experience :)

My third visit here with Maria and I absolutely love this salon and her! Vibes are cheerful and friendly, snacks and drinks are available during your appointment. The products they use leave my hair feeling soft, smooth, and smelling great. I think this place is perfect for anyone in the market for unique hairstyles and vivids. They carry a wide range of vivid color options. I opted to go black this time and it matches me so well, it looks like this is my natural hair color! I love a wolf cut and Maria always gets the layers right. But, these folks are very talented and I would trust them with any of my hair needs. They have range of different hair products available for purchase, great brands and though I don’t have curly hair I noticed they cater to all different hair types as well. It is a very openly welcoming space to queer and neurodivergent people. My stylist Maria is so sweet and accommodating, and she has nailed all of my requests so far! I’ll be back! 💕

I highly recommend Freya, she helped me with not only with my hair style she was actively creative in suggesting varies options within my comfortability. My first impression was how clean the space is. Rebel Hair has created a very fun environment that inspires creativity. Freya is particularly talented with hair color and design. She creates an engaging conversation about different options.
What meant the most to me was their help in repairing some damage to my hair. To me it was unrepairable but both Freya and Maria (assistant)
Suggested a hair mask which created silky, smooth hair.
It’s easy to see how much they enjoy helping people create the image they imagine into reality. I left not only with healthier hair that was damaged from chlorine but more confidence in my appearance.

I’ve been wanting to go back to my natural color for awhile, my roots were pretty long but I was nervous about getting it done! Sarah was ON THE NOSE at guessing my natural color & toning my bleached ends to match my natural roots!

The pic with short hair is my natural hair 2.5 years ago (the last time it was fully natural) & the long hair is after Sarah did it today. Spot on I think!!

I know Rebel is known for their vibrant colors but clearly this is a multi-talented bunch!

Freya always does a great job with my hair. I have really thick hair and it can be tricky to style. Whether I am coming in for a cut or a color I know Freya will listen to me and work with me to achieve the results I am looking for.

Mya made my hair dreams come true! I was really nervous about wanting to add dimension & new color on my previously treated hair, but Mya put my worries to rest. She was so patient as I figured out what I wanted to do, and I am in love with my new hair. If you're on a journey, Mya is your guide, and the entire team at Rebel is there to cheer you on. Cannot recommend enough!

I had a wonderful experience at Rebel Hair! It was my very first time getting an undercut (to help with the summer heat) and Freya was incredible - very patient & kind, and asked a lot of questions to make sure we had the same vision in mind. Will definitely be going back.

I first heard about Rebel through a friend of mine when I saw how awesome her vibrate hair color was! I've been thinking about getting some professional color in my hair for while now, and summer seemed like a good time to do so!

I have had two wonderful experiences at Rebel. The first time was for a fun photo shoot opportunity with my friend. This is when I had met Freya and Cassie. Both are absolutely wonderful people and easy to talk to. I had mentioned that I wanted to get some vivid pink in my hair, but I hadn't gotten it done yet because money was tight. This is when Freya mentioned that she had a special going on for July, and I couldn't pass up on the opportunity. I booked her soon after!

I have been growing my hair out since 2014, so I knew that the length of my hair was going to take longer than usual. I got my hair trimmed for the first time in about 5 years, and my hair looked so refreshed! Then, my hair was lightened in a balayage way as to help the pink stand out more when that got put it. Freya created the perfect mix of pink for me using 3 different colors. And, WOW! It came out perfectly! I was there for a great portion of the day, but I could seriously talk to Freya and Cassie forever!

Overall, it was a super fun, super chill day, and my hair came out exactly as I envisioned it! THANK YOU SO MUCH! This will be my go-to salon!

Incredibly friendly staff, very pleased with the product! Staff were very respectful towards my preferred pronouns in addition to their exemplary skills. Got a haircut and vibrant colors. By far the happiest I've been with my hair. Cassie was knowledgeable and fun, creating a gorgeous look that was exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be returning.

Incredibly helpful, Freya was a lifesaver for somebody who had no idea what to do with long hair after growing it out for the first time. Extremely friendly and patient. Will absolutely be back.

Update: continued care and consultations only solidify my knowledge that Freya and all the other folks at Rebel Hair are doing fantastic work and giving people a safe place to be themselves.

I am beyond thrilled with my first visit at Rebel and with Cassie! I was in need of a change and some serious hair maintenance! Cassie hit it out of the park with my new look and I couldn’t be happier! I’m excited for my next appointment already! The level of sass and confidence I’m feeling today? 10 out of 10! Cassie is ridiculously talented! It's the one appointment that I book with complete confidence because my hair always looks stunning when I leave. She takes the time to listen to what I want, and knows exactly how to make it happen. She's so knowledgeable and passionate about her job, and it really shows in the results. My highlights were multi-dimensional, shiny and toned perfectly!

I booked a last minute appointment with Maria. This experience went sooo well! I have been so nervous to do a styled cut with my hair since I’ve had some bad experiences and have had to continuesly grow my hair out from those times. I’ve been trying to grow my natural color but have felt self conscious about the color that was left in my hair from previous at home dyes, the mid to ends of my hair were orange due to fading browns. I wanted to do an ombré to help me feel better about my hair while still growing out the natural color! Maria did such an amazing job and blended my colors together with an ombré so nicely. I wanted to try curtain bangs for a while now and I let Maria know about this, she did such a great job at styling my hair for me and adding in a couple layers to even out previous bad cuts I’ve had!! I left the salon with tears of joy because I was so relieved and happy with this experience! I can’t thank Maria enough she was so personable and really helped take away my anxieties through the process!!

Love love love this place! If you didn't have an addiction to vivid hair color, you will. They also do beautiful natural color and all kinds of treatments.

Rebel Hair is my happy place! I always look forward to my appointment with Sara, because of her genuine kindness and her ability to understand my hair desires and execute them even better than I could’ve imagined. Such a welcoming, fun, and uplifting salon!

Mya is amazing!!! No one has ever cut my hair as well. She is an artist and pays so much attention to detail. Love her and love her new gig!!!

Best salon in Madison for coloring my hair. The staff are excellent and want you to have a great experience. Highly recommend coming here and checking it out.
