Firefly Farm

I loved coming here, the weather was perfect and the farm was beautiful. Came here to pick flowers to make a bouquet for my mother for Mother’s Day. Really fun activity to do on the weekend, I definitely will be back!

We had an amazing time at Firefly Farm yesterday!
The Witches Haunted Barn was fantastic and I couldn’t get my son and his friends to leave!
The flowers were gorgeous, the animals sweet and the goodies from Starfish Bakery were out of this world!

My kids had a great time here picking wildflowers. We visited with the donkeys, horses, and also with the chickens. The trails aren’t too long, but provide a nice little hike with different patches of wildflowers.

It’s a very nice way to take your time and hand-pick a special little bouquet. While a bit more variety would be nice, it was still lots of fun and we ended up with flowers that mom loved. And kids that had fun out in the sun.

Remember your sun tan lotion and book time earlier in the day, it can get hot and humid in the summer sun.

Awesome farm in Hillsborough where you can cut your own wildflowers for $15 a bucket and get fresh baked goods, farm grown veggies and free range eggs. She also does a spooktacular Halloween on Saturdays in October that's all-age friendly. And there's these mini donkeys that are absolutely adorable, including a 2 week old baby!

Scenic drive from Durham to a beautiful little farm. We really enjoyed picking our own flowers and purchased some fresh produce. A wonderful morning and we will certainly be back.

Lots of fun on a beautiful farm. The witch barn was VERY well done. My 9 year old son said it wasn't scary at all but reached for my hand at the entrance to each section and said "Come on, Mom." CAN'T wait to go back when the sunflowers bloom!

Farm stay is very comfortable and quiet. Delightful farm to explore with lovely flowers to purchase.

Farmer Cindy's u-pick flower session was GREAT fun! Beautiful flowers and property! We enjoyed meeting the donkeys too!

This place is awesome!
Spent about an hour picking flowers and walking around this beautiful little farm (complete with donkeys!) Well worth the drive from raleigh, Durham or chapel hill, especially since it was such a beautiful drive out.
Lots of flowers to pick from, lovely owner and very safe in terms of Covid (masks were worn in close proximity, everything was sanitized.) They even wrapped our flowers and gave us a glass jar for them! This is a perfect date or family activity idea. We could’ve easily spent 2 hours here.

Firefly Farm is a beautiful, peaceful place to visit and to purchase flowers, eggs and vegetables. They have the best spring greens I’ve ever bought and I can’t wait to see what crops will be available for summer.

Beautiful farm. Friendly staff. Even though there aren't many flower choices, but made a nice bouquet with them. Donkeys are very friendly as well. My daughter loved to pet them.

The haunted barn was great. Perfect for those that love Halloween but don't like very scary things and younger kids. We also loved seeing the unicorn!

The pick-your-own flowers are lovely! And I am a big fan of their eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, and basil. This place gets better every year and they even have little donkeys to grin at :)

We had a wonderful time picking wildflowers for Mother's Day, and the children loved petting the donkeys and horse. All the staff is so helpful and nice.
